Love Nora's series books. The Key Series involves, three women discovering the key to self fulfillment, discovery and true love. It is amazing how Nora Roberts can find or create a myth or legend that can be so believable. She creates an earthly situation we fall into and an other worldly situation that becomes real.
Susan Ericksen is one of my favorite narrators, I especially love her with the J.D. Robb 'In Death' series. She creates subtle vocal differences in each character, her accents are consistent and true. Most times her character interp is exactly what I imagined and what I hope Nora intended.
The Key series is definitely worth a listen and a re-listen.

Love this narrator! She brings whimsy and fun to the stories she does. This premise is a little far fetched but overall quite intriguing.

Nora takes us to Innocence Mississippi, in this tale of love and murder. The heroine, Caroline is believable and like-able because of her faults and idiosyncrasies. The hero, is like-able with his affable ways hiding his true giving nature, and the killer is a surprise!
This story, although slightly dated, shows the finding of love, the strength of character and issues of southern racism without hitting you over the head.
The narrator creates this small southern town, with all it's different characters through his voice, the accents are consistent for each character, so that you can see each person.
I would listen again.

One of my favorites. The book is great way to learn about J. D. Robb for the Nora followers. The characters are fun and vibrant. Susan Ericksen takes us seamlessly the early 2000s to 2060. The love story is ever present but the suspense and intrigue give it zip and make you want to solve the mysteries. Would and will listen again and again!

I have been reading Nora Roberts since her debut with Irish Throughobred. Her books are always well written, however, her plot lines and characters have evolved with her years in writing. This is a simple story, chronicling the strength of the heroine. The love interest is perhaps, typical of stereotype macho male of the 1980s.
The narrator creates each of the different characters very believably. The story flowed well in her voice. For a simple love story, this is worth a listen.

I have read and enjoyed the J. D. Robb "In Death" series for years. Susan Ericksen as the narrator brings the characters to life and is consistent with interpretation in each book. I listen to the books as exercise and travel.
