After 12 years of secret training, Atticus O’Sullivan is finally ready to bind his apprentice, Granuaile, to the earth and double the number of Druids in the world. But on the eve of the ritual, the world that thought he was dead abruptly discovers that he’s still alive, and they would much rather he return to the grave. Having no other choice, Atticus, his trusted Irish wolfhound, Oberon, and Granuaile travel to the base of Mount Olympus, where the Roman god Bacchus is anxious to take his sworn revenge - but he’ll have to get in line behind an ancient vampire, a band of dark elves, and an old god of mischief.

Would you listen to Trapped again? Why?

Actually on my second read now. I have re read the previous ones at least 3 times each by now. They are all just fantastic!!

What other book might you compare Trapped to and why?

I only have two other authors series that I am hooked on. James Patterson and Kathy Riechs. But there is no comparing them. I read them for my crime/investigative fix. The Iron Druid, something totally different. I read these for the enjoyment of a fantasy adventure. Fairies, gods, demons, vampires, werewolves. What's not to love!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I'm not good at tag lines, but they totally need to make this a movie series. I liken it to an adult Harry Potter experience!!!!!

    Any additional comments?

Listen to this book series!! Does not disappoint!

It's Christmas Eve and Detective Alex Cross has been called out to catch someone who's robbing his church's poor box. That mission behind him, Alex returns home to celebrate with Bree, Nana, and his children. The tree decorating is barely underway before his phone rings again - a horrific hostage situation is quickly spiraling out of control. Away from his own family on the most precious of days, Alex calls upon every ounce of his training, creativity, and daring to save another family.

Would you consider the audio edition of Merry Christmas, Alex Cross to be better than the print version?

Have not read the print version, but i am a huge fan of audio. If I had time to sit and read, I would be asleep come chapter 2. This way I can still get my literary fix!!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. I really loved that this read is almost 2 stories in one. You get the conclusion of his last book wrapped up with a whole other plot twist. It was great.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Don't remember hearing them before. They worked well together in this book.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II. With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt.

What made the experience of listening to Hexed the most enjoyable?

I have now read all three of the books in this series, and I can't wait til book 4 comes out in april. I would find find myself just laughing out loud at the characters storytelling or interaction with other characters in the book. They were all really fantastic

Would you be willing to try another book from Kevin Hearne? Why or why not?

YES!!!! cant wait until it comes out in april. If it hold true to the other 3, as far as humor, and adventure, it will be well worth the wait.

Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

besides these three books by Kevin Hearne, I have not heard him before. But I think he made the story pop. With all the voices he did for the characters, he was fasntastic!!!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Laugh out loud funny. At the same time, it could be serious with the losses in battle, and well rounded in both reguards.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

What did you like about this audiobook?

Absolutely! It was a very good book. Kept me entertained and intrigued throughout.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

Any of the exchanges between Adicus and his dog Oberon. There wasn't a moment between their conversing, that I wasn't laughing out loud!

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

    No, first time for me.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

I would speak of it, but it was part of the ending. I wouldn't want to give the story away.

Do you have any additional comments?

To anyone who likes fantasy stories. Try this one. I promise it won't disappoint!
