There is no flow, the tonality given to people is just so unbelievable, I mean the Tribune( military hero) sounds like my 12 year old daughter when she whines about her curfew

Braverman Shaw, "Bravo" to his friends, always knew his father had secrets. But not until his mysterious death does Bravo discover the enormity of his father's hidden life as a high-ranking member of the Order of Gnostic Observatines, a sect founded by followers of St. Francis of Assisi and believed to have been wiped out centuries ago.

Peggy says: "We need the unabridged version"
    "Never Again"
    Overall

This is my first and last Eric Van Lustbader book, I don't know if the unabridged version would have caused me to write a different review.
But to me the characters lacked soul, and the plot was just not credible enough for me to immerse myself into the story. One of the worst writings so far.

    "Bad Reading"
    Overall

I do not know about the book itself, I was so turned off by the "Reader" that I stopped listening after 10 minutes
