The story is what counts here. It is a spellbinding account of real events and people, and dramatic for the times it occurred in and the events portrayed. If you are a fan of cold war and beyond real world workings of counterintelligence this is a must have.

Inside Delta Force is similar in that it involves real working knowledge and case history fro actual agencies involved, told in an entertaining manner.

The final confrontation with the mole- but it was close with all the others along the way! MANY points to consider a highlight!

Just a first rate listen with many memorable moments- as well as an educational look into the worlds of the families and agencies involved.

I highly recommend SCIFI fans to this book- but a warning: There is some fantasy here as well. For some that's a good thing, if you don't like fantasy then there are a few stories that will grate on you.

While he started with some wonderfully logical points, the writer broke down and relied only upon some misinformation, miscategorizations, and inaccuracies at the end. Had he stayed the course he could have made a compelling argument for his viewpoints.

The descent into typical talking points and arguments against the 2nd amendment instead of the same analysis he brought to the first few paragraphs.

In the beginning there was a coherent and emotionless argument analysed. In the end, an emotional rant without any supporting facts, all opinion.

The Author should differentiate between facts and fictions and opinions. "Assault Rifle" is a term coined by the media, not an actual description of the weapons used in recent shootings. Also, no "Automatic" weapons were used, nor are any weapons used in these actually military weapons- rather they are simply hunting caliber semi automatic weapons that are modified to LOOK like a military weapon.

If proponents of gun control would simply admit this portion of the debate ahead of time and stop using inflammatory and pejorative sentences and words designed to frighten readers/listeners genuinely honest debate can ensue about reasonable measures being taken to better equip society in limiting access by the mentally ill to weapons that can be used to harm multiple people in short time frames- which would include chemicals, explosives, and arson tools as well I would imagine, if the debate is to be genuine.

Without reservation. If you've always wanted to counter those Pseudo-scientific followers or espouse-rs, this is the ammo box of clear thinking and rational examples of why most of what "everybody knows" is wrong.

The articles on the Moon and common misconceptions is enough to be a small book worthy of cocktail party chatter alone. The rest is simply brilliant.

He presents this with a "Dicovery Channel" professionalism, delivery, and tone of voice that allows one to lose themselves in the narrative- the sign of a great voice actor. You believe he is the author, due to his immersion and conviction in the role.

Several laugh out loud moments- but many more "Ah-Ha!" moments. At least one "Eureka!" moment guaranteed per listener.

I cannot recommend the listen highly enough. It should be required at the elementary, high school, and college levels. And again 5 years after entering the marketplace. :)

The Jim Butcher story was worth the price alone, but this is a delightful- and delightfully performed for the most part, collection of stories. The Harry Dresden story was masterful in writing as well as performance.

One of the early stories is a bit too fantasy for my tastes, and relied upon a confusing list of fanciful beings and items which was very chaotic. Added to the annoying "read", was an annoying voice that made it intolerable (I will let you figure out which one I refer to: Hint: It will be obvious). If it's not on the page it's not on the stage however, as the same voice actress rendered a stunning performance on a later story.

Overall I recommend this collection highly- look at the klinker as an extra that doesn't matter, but don't let it stop you from picking this up- heck, most collections like this have only a couple good stories, this has only one mediocre one!

The audio versions of these books bring a depth not found in simple readings, as the pronunciations of the phrases in various languages of the places and phrases is entertaining and enlightening- I recommend them to all of my friends who are fans of the written stories.

The performance and the writing were equally superb.

The heart and pathos that was communicated by Gigante was amazing, as was his command of the languages spoken.
