The subject is a divisive one, but looking at how it was written. This is one of my favourite books. I listened to it over and over again. I plan on listening to it again in the future about 100 times or so.
Absoluty not, how she got he story in print is a mystery.
She drones on and on and on about small details until you fall asleep.
Character were fine, but she over describe the characters till suspension of disbelief in totally shattered.
I would like to get my credit back, so I could get something better to listen to.
The stories pace is slow. It taking to long to get anywhere in the plot. I wouldn't recomend the title.
One of the most important books written today. This is a must listen for people who care how
this world works. Insightful and well structure,
it's an easy listen, with extremely important information about what going on in the world.
First off, the reader is over melodramatic for
my taste. But then I'm not a twelve year old girl.
The story is written by a girl and not a women, I'm
pretty sure and it shows.
If your a guy that like SF, skip this one.
It's creepy and not it a evil way.
More like reading your sisters diary.
Last time I buy a book because of the cover
or what written on the back.
I read this book 25 years ago and it still is one
of the best books I ever read. The story is
intricate with twist and sub plots. It is not
predictable as many in this style of book seem
to be. Story is best read or listen to. The movie
fell short of the richness of the tale.
This version was masterfully read, and executed.
I am totally happy I spent three credit on this.
The book is aimed at 16 to 26 year old males.
The story line is cross between Star Ship Troopers and a USA conservative Republican Radio show.
The first chapter is in Military jargon to bond with people either in or just leaving service. All
There is alternate science that has nothing to
with the real world. Such as a new ice age even
though the glaciers are melting. How does that
The author assigns behavior to the opposition that is
truly dastardly. (Unbelievable)
The hero is flawless, smart, and a farmer.
If you enjoyed Star Ship Troopers, as I did.
I have the book and reread it once in while.
You'll like this book. In my opinion it's has about
as much relevance to what's going on today.
Star Ship Troopers is relevant in a quirky way,
but I would not quote it like Shakespeare,
except to a Conservative Republican Radio show
host. "Seven Habits of Successful People" it is
I would consider the book only to be a work of fiction and an okay read. Light humor.
An accurate mirror of today and how you should live your life. No, unless your a conservative
Republican Radio show host. The world only needs
one or two of them.
