I bought this book primarily because of the narrator...Rosalyn Landor. What surprised me was the author,i found this a light read. Easy to follow. It was funny at times and the characters were great. I can't wait for the next book on Cross. I hope Landor will pick up from where she left of!
I liked SJ. She is not my number one but I can say she is within my top 10 narrators. This is my second KA book, and I am not looking to try a third anytime soon which is a shame because she has potential!
Lee came off as a jerk. Indie came off as a child.
Hank, Indie and the Kevster and a whole lot of pot plants.
Nope. Just a book that went from great to boring.
Careful, this is a very girly-type book with one too many OMG's and Holy sh* sh* sh*. The female characters will make you want to say "are you kidding me!" Their antics started of as funny then turned to annoying. The guys all have issues and seem very detached and quite frankly jerks.
The Reapers Series keeps growing and the characters keep getting better and better! I must say every book is different.
To me each author is different and can't really compare books. I will say though that JW makes bikers so darn attractive. They are flawed but they are loyal.
I love this duo. They work together even though their narrations are different it does not take away from the story.
Well worth my credit. Looking forward to the next book!
This book was way over the top. The female lead throws all her values out the door just because of a hot billionaire and in just 1-2 days!!, please give me a break. For someone meant to be level-headed and focused not highly likely. Speaking of hot billionaire, what a joke! This book was more about sex that anything else. It just did not work. So I guess if something erotic is what you are looking for then this might work for you.
Focus more on building realistic and likable characters.
I am on the border with Summer. She isn't the worst narrator out there but I wouldn't jump at listening to her any time soon. Unfortunately, I did not make it to the end of this book, can't comment on Tyler's narration.
All characters! Harris was more vicious than macho, I mean he killed people just because his employer told him so. Valentine was so weird, I just don't see how any female would not think "serial killer" esp after learning he has been watching and stalking you for years! Kyrie, well I am all for going after love but she seemed very superficial and weak. Giving in so easily especially after the author builds her up to be this down-on-her-luck level headed female made me picture her as weak and full of herself!
I would not waste a credit on this.
Shane! Being bad was really hot, sexy, edgy and everything in between!
When Shane was willing to kill himself for Dov. That was a whole level of crazy in love!
Love the performance, the duo work great together. The narrated this story so well, I hope they keep the pair for all books on this series!
Well finding out who Shane's father was, but as I thought about what had happened since the beginning it made sense. It was a roller coaster sort of book with ups and downs that got you hooked from start to finish.
I loved the Marked Men series, but there is a new series that could top it and it starts with this book!. I don't know why I ever hesitated to try this book. Making bad so bad that it tempted good and won the fight, well that takes talent and JC definitely has a way with words! This is high on my list of books to recommend to anyone looking for and intense, sexy and captivating story of 2 people's battle to find just a little love in their lives.
To me Mal was this center of energy that only Anne could focus. While it is tempting to run away in Mal's carefree, consequences be damned personality; Anne was more of the think first before you leap type of girl. These two fit perfectly. From the stalker moment Mal moved himself in, to the goofy moment they jumped up and down resulting in breaking the bed to the sad moment they both gave in and finally shared their darkest secrets. I loved this book enough to say that yes it is worth a credit. K.S. has yet to disappoint me. I love Andi and the narrator. I hope she keeps narrating all the books in this series.
Within the first 40 minutes of this audio I was chuckling and laughing hard. Needless to say I kept going for the entire book. Very few authors get me so caught up in a book that I just want more so this was a nice bonus. I shall definitely be searching for more Kylie Scott books. I think Andi Arndt was perfect for this book. The combination of author and narrator is a big deal for me. I would rather read text than listen to a horrible narration. I will definitely be trying other books narrated by Andie Arndt as well. I am sure this will be a book I can listen to over again on those days when I can't find anything I like on audible!
Finally its all about Nash! and it was super. I love the Marked Men and in my opinion this is second to Rule's story. It was hot, fun, emotional, crazy, eye-rolling, annoying all wrapped up in one. J.C. is first becoming one of my go-to authors. I love how she makes the mid west so attractive. I loved the epilogue, all geared up for the next book!
I really liked Jet and Ayden in book 1 so of course I dashed to purchase this book. The book is okay but not as good as the the first book. My biggest issue was the narration, Cal Wembly is a good narrator but not for the role of Jet. He sounds more cow-boyish than rocker and also more soft mannered than one with anger issues. Although Callie did try to pull off the KY accent it would have been better with someone who had it nailed down. In the end, the ups and downs of dealing with a bad boy are all present in this book. The fact that Ayden could match Jet on being bad was entertaining. I would still recommend the book. The series is delightful.
I have never been a big fan of bad boys but something about this book kept pulling me in. I finally caved, having nothing better to read and bought it from my mile long wish list. Oh boy well, was I pleasantly surprised. This bad boy was bad to the end but at least he tried; making him more real than a fantasy. I never thought piercings and body tattoo would be so sexy but this book made me think just maybe I should keep my mind open (don't judge a book by its cover). I loved the narration, the different voices worked for this book. I like this so much I was done in one day. In my opinion worth my credit.
I loved this book, although at first I was hesitant because it was narrated by 2 people. They both did a splendid job! There is nothing nice about this book, not much of hearts and flowers so if you are thinking of a traditional romance, you are in the wrong section of books! I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. It is not only funny and entertaining but the author wrote a book that is really close to reality. Nothing wrong with a little scary in my opinion! Looking forward to the next book!
