I've become obsessed with the entire Manson nightmare, I've listened to other books on the murders and I feel this one gives it more of a human side to the them...
If anyone is at all interested in the insane nightmares that took place in August of 69
this is a MUST read !!
I liked Patty, I liked hearing how she became stronger and stronger throughout her life to once and for all face the animals that took her sisters life
Have not heard others
It made me happy that this family is making sure the monsters that committed these crimes are staying right where they belong,.. In Prison suffering for the rest of their worthless lives
Very good book !!
Easily in the top 5
The voices of the characters
I really enjoyed the characters of Han and Leia interacting with characters of Anakin's past.
Its not one of my favorites, but it's a good book to listen to if your a Star Wars EU fan .
I like the way Marc Thompson reads the books, I like multiple voices.
Honor Among Thieves is a good book to fill in some of the timeline of what may have happened between ANH and ESB .. It's a nicely written story
Probably. it was a good listen
Little more back story to some characters
I personally think that Marc Thompson is one of the best readers
It was a entertaining listen, but not one to listen to over and over again
The story was pretty good, I very much like the ending
Marc Thompson is one of the best... Never disappointed by his work
Enjoyed listening to it..
In the top 10
Anakin / Vader thoughts of his life support suit
I like the narrators who change their voice to represent the different characters...
Jonathan Davis is one of the best
A must read for any Star Wars fan
A true account of a mad man and his followers
I could have, it was riveting, and very informative, and very easy to listen to
Charles Manson is a nut job, and now that there is a chance that one of his followers might be released from prison brings this book back into the spotlight, ANYONE who thinks that anyone of his "Family Members" ought to be released from prison needs to listen or read this book, it will change your mind very quickly !!!
I've been obsessed with the murder of JFK, for most of my life,
my parents were very big Kennedy supporters and lived in Washington DC at the time of the assassination, they have some very great pictures of JFK during his inauguration, his speeches around Washington, the speech he gave days before he was murdered, as well as the funeral and the original grave site .. (It was moved in 1967 a few feet away )
Having basically grown up hearing about all of this, I've read MANY books on his presidency, as well as the assassination, this was to me one of the best, and I'm not a fan of Bill O' Reily, he did a great job on this book as well as the one on the Killing of Abraham Lincoln..
Not really a character book
His voice is actually easy to listen to
Very good book for anyone who would like to learn of what really happened in Dallas that November day !
I really enjoyed hearing a different take on the assassination of JFK
Some other reviews felt this audio book was boring or repetitive, I didn't feel that at all
of your interested in the events of November 22, 1963, this is something you need to listen to !!
It would rank somewhere in the middle
This book is a book for Elvis fans, It was a little slow in parts but all and all a pretty good listen...
