This is the 2nd OSC book I've listened to. As with the other, Pathfinder is challenging and keeps you thinking! I didn't give it 5 stars because it does drag at times, but my 11 year old son and I loved listening to it and talking about it and making guess all along the journey!

Based on the reviews I kept waiting for it to get better, but I had a hard time loving this whiny, emotionally stunted girl. I like that she eventually figured it out, but why did it take so long?

I know I'm going against the majority here, but I wasn't riveted like many others were. I enjoyed the concept and narration, but there didn't seem to be a single well-defined conflict that kept the action moving along. My 10 year old and I listened faithfully on our commute at first, but found ourselves drifting at times. Sometimes we even turned it off in favor of music.
