"Don't waste a Credit"
AUDIO IS HORRIBLE!!!
See post on book one in the series. Until its re-done, do not waste a credit getting these 2 books.
"I Love Jane....."
Another totally awesom book from Ms. Hunter and very well narratored by K. Hvam. The story of Jane Yellowrock moves on as Jane still tries to find herself, while doing things she is totally against, but knows she has follow through with a job, its changing her and shes worry that she may lose herself. If you follow the series then you'll know she has lost her friendship with BBF Molly and her daughter Angie baby, this book gives us an look into that...A very good series...
"Totally wrong Narrator...."
Although I have read this series I want to listen to it in audio.....I like the story, its a YA book, full of friendship, lotality, love and family. Tessa finding herself alone and looking for her brother in London, she finds enemies and friends..On the downside this story is about young teenagers the narrators voice was way to old for this narration, I just couldn't get past her very mature voice, but worth a listen as they do change narrators in book 2
"GIN, like the liquor...."
Love this series, love the storyline how it picks right up from the last book. The narrator Lauren Fortgang rock this, her slow southern drawl is perfect.
Hope for another book soon...
"Another wonderful BDB book"
another great book from JR Ward about the brother hood, the story of 2 warriors who find that their life is different from their brothers, all though I could have done without the male on male sex parts, I loved the storyline. I do think that the writer is drawning out this series, I feel she needs to pick up the pace, solve some of the on going issuse that the BDB is dealing with, close up some gaps in the storyline.
"A great series"
I love LKH as a writer, her stories are full of words that takes you into the life of the characters in such a way, you feel like your there. This is a great series, I love Merry and her strong bond to her men, her no nonesess attitude to get things done..If you like sf-fi romance, this is a great listen..
"Truely a Disappointment"
As much as I love a good G. Showalter book, this book really sucks! I bought both books in the series book 1 &2 and I can't even finish book 1. and the reason are:
Audio is horriable and I'm not sure if its the narrator J.Almasy even though I do think her voice is more for a young adult book than this or the fact the audio performance just plain sucked. Ms. Almasy voice was so low in some parts of the story that I would have to turn it up to full volume only to have my ears blown out the the next sentence, because her range change from a soft whisper to a full out yell.
Ms.Almasy voice is very childish, I had a hard time believeing she was of age to say some of the words in the book, I was almost embarssed to listen to her.
As for the storyline, it drown on and on, such a disappointment from Ms. Showalter, I couldn't even get into the story.
To me this book is not worth a credit, I was sorry I got them both..
"Very Good"
I bought this series because of the reviews it had, it was good, I loved the storyline alot and I'm looking forward to the 4th book, that being said.......I didn't think the narration was the best ever, it was good but not the best. Mr. Jackson's accent was not spot on, I found my self wandering, which to me is a sure sign the narrator did not catch my attention.
"another freat story"
Follow=up of Rachel's unbalanced life, moving into a more serious relationship with trent, with some loss of great characters in this book, I love it..
Ms Gavin is in my top 5 of narrators and once again she is spot on in her voices, I can so picture each one by her voice..
"Not what I expected..."
Wow this was a surprise, I liked it! It's a very young adult series but it was refreshing, a love story, with a twist,, a very good listen
