I love this series, but OMG I hated to have to listen to the music & sounds affect that Penquin Audio added to this audiobook, it totally ruined it for me, the music was too loud I could barely hear the narrator speak in most parts of the story, other than that Kimberly Alexis was a fabulous narrator, her voice is easy to listen to and I felt I could tell who was who in the story.
If it wasn't for the most annoying sound affects I would have given this audio series 5 stars, buy the books, pass on all the music drama....
as in book one, the story is good but narration is killing it, of course now i'm hooked to the storyline,I'll just have to bear it.....my advice, listen to the sample first see if you can take the tone of the narrator first..
My best friends name is Sunshine, so of course I wanted to get this book and see how it was, I was blown away, I loved the main caracter Sunshine, her softness and need to be just a plain young woman in a big bad world is touching, the narration was a little hard to adjust to as Sunshine is a young girl and the narrators voice seemed to sound to old to be a young girl, but the story was fresh, different, and always keeping me on edge to see what was going to happen, this was a shocker buy, but so so glad I did...AAAA+++++
