I hated the change in narrators, tho Cynthia Holloway is wonderful, she just does not get the voices as well, but once again Anita is up to her tush in men and trouble, as she gains more power through her bonds with Richard & Jean-Claude, she seems to lose a little more of herself each book, all though I loved her in the beginning, I felt she was whiny in this book, she causes herself & the "men" (all of 7 of them) more problems than need be, but then if she didn't we wouldn't have a book, would we?? All in all this is a great series, but it seems pretty predicable as how it's all going to go, same story line, just add more men...
as in book one, the story is good but narration is killing it, of course now i'm hooked to the storyline,I'll just have to bear it.....my advice, listen to the sample first see if you can take the tone of the narrator first..
My best friends name is Sunshine, so of course I wanted to get this book and see how it was, I was blown away, I loved the main caracter Sunshine, her softness and need to be just a plain young woman in a big bad world is touching, the narration was a little hard to adjust to as Sunshine is a young girl and the narrators voice seemed to sound to old to be a young girl, but the story was fresh, different, and always keeping me on edge to see what was going to happen, this was a shocker buy, but so so glad I did...AAAA+++++
