This was a great listen... I couldn't stop listening to it. I love Emma Galvin too as the narrator. She is one of my favorites. I loved how the heroin in the book starts out weak and how she grows and learns as the story unwinds, and I can tell that this is just the start of her progression. I can't wait until the next book comes out- seriously mad I have to wait. I love Jack's character as well. It is sort of frustrating that the story is only read from Evangeline's perspective and it is maddening to not know what Jack is actually thinking/feeling vs. what Evie thinks he is, but that is part of the fun too. I love a guy character with a lot of layers. It has a interesting story line and I am hooked.
This was a great ending to the series. Everything was wrapped up nicely and I'm excited for her new series that she introduces here. Her books are fast paced and so good !
Ok I seriously love her books. I was so excited to see a new release--- I listened to the entire Beautiful series in about a week. I loved them and this did not disappoint! Must listen!
I love this series. This is Liv and Nate's story ... And it was a different twist on a friendship turned romance. I love Nate. The writing is witty and entertaining, characters are relatable and interesting. The only thing I wish would have been better is the narrator. Her version of the Scottish accents was terrible. But I still wholeheartedly recommend this book!
I'm still on the fence. I didn't love it, but I liked it. If you like her style of writing then I'm sure you'll enjoy this book. Some things that made it a "like" instead of "love" are...main character is a bit annoying, story is a bit unrealistic, story lacked the sexual tension that keeps you wanting more. Good things... It's light, funny at times, and an easy listen.
If you loved Beautiful Disaster then you'll love this too. It wasn't as good as Beautiful Disaster but well worth the listen. It had an interesting twist at the end that I totally wasn't expecting. Keep giving us great books Jaime!
Samantha Young is becoming a fave of mine. I have loved all her books. When I finished On Dublin Street I didn't move onto this one right away because I didn't think I cared enough about Joss and Brayden's supporting cast to keep listening, but I'm glad I came back and finished the series. Jo and Cam I think are my favorite in the series...I loved how they got a rough start and were friends before it went further. I loved how honest Cam was from the start and wasn't afraid to tell Jo how he cared for her. Their chemistry and sexual tension is so good! I quickly became engrossed with this series and I love all of the characters and getting updates on Joss and Brayden and Ellie and Adam is a plus too.
This series was emotional and real and hard to listen to at times but I'm glad I finished the series. Jessica does a good job in her books with plots surrounding heartache and loss and redemption.
I LOVED this book! It was captivating from the start. I loved Mal in "Lick" and was so happy to listen to his story. His character is hilarious too. Laugh out loud funny. Entertaining, easy to listen to, and I loved every minute of it.
I love this series. This is Nash and Saint's love story. I related to Saint and her insecurities and really appreciated the way Nash lifted her up and helped her see herself through his eyes. All of the books in this series are so good! I like that you don't have to wait the entire book for them to finally pull their heads out and get together. I love the relationship they all have with their friends and how they see their friends as family. Some other series I've read where the star characters rotate from friend to friend... It seems like it's the same story over and over....but each of the love stories in this series are unique and true to the characters. We'll done Jay. Can't wait for Rowdy's story.
I was so excited for another book by Colleen. I enjoy her writing style and her character development. This love story was unique and I really liked how much the book made me think about love in real life. I do think it is possible to love two people at one time, and it was great to read how Ridge and Sidney went through falling in love but knowing they shouldn't and their efforts to fight it in order to not hurt Maggie. I loved how honest Maggie was with herself and Ridge and how they handled their relationship and their future in such a mature way. I loved how honest Ridge was with Sidney and Maggie the entire time. It was refreshing to have the male character actually confess his true feelings and be a man about it. Love and life is complicated and messy and sometimes it isn't possible to not hurt others along the way, even if you don't want or mean to. Such a good listen!
