This is a really good book. The police departments all over the world should be required to read it and learn about how not to share info and work together to solve a murder. I had to stop listening a couple of time because I was so angry at the police in this book. There was NO excuse for the way they failed to work with each other on sharing leads. Thank God they were convicted anyway. The narrator is boring. He has no expression in his voice.
One of the very best in the "In Death" series. It was interesting from the very start. I love Eve's fear of shopping. I was really hoping Peabody would at the very least get engaged in this one. I'm going to listen to it again. I highly recommend this book.
I was very aware of Neil Armstrong but didn't know much about him. This book was written by one of closest friends. He was a very humble man and did not like to be in the spotlight. The info in this book was wonderful and informative, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand what was happening. I laughed and cried. I am buying it for my 12 year old grandson. It's that good. I've listened to it twice already.
It was horrible. The narrator was absolutely the worst I've ever heard. I hated all of it. I can't find a single thing good about it.
I have every book in this series and, I believe, this is my favorite. The story line is so touching without being sappy. Eve and Rourke are great together in this book. This book really seemed real to me.
I really enjoyed this book. Even though the subject matter is "out there", it takes my mind off of the daily things in life that get boring. I think it's written well.
Once again, a story that has everything, romance, werewolves, suspense, mystery, and best of all humor. Molly Harper tells a story like no one else; and Amanda Ronconi is the best person ever to read the story. Please don't ever change that. Looking forward to the next book.
I was terribly disappointed in this book. I've read everything by Ms. Cornwell and I love this series. This took several chapters of "the poor little me's" to get to the story line. After the story started to unfold, it was good. But really I almost stopped listening before the story was to the point it was like it should be. I hope the next book will be better.
As always I was hooked from the first page. I love all of the main characters in the "in death" series. I can hardly wait for the next book.
I really was looking forward to this book but it was so disappointing and much to my surprise it was boring. I would not recommend it because I felt it was a waste of my time.
It was well done. I had never given the politics of the time a single thought. It was extremely interesting and I learned a lot that I didn't know. I would recommend it to anyone. It was an excellent read.
