I found this to be a very difficult audio to follow. There was no story. Just facts and dates and concepts.
    Disapointment

A teen idol at 15, an international icon and founder of the Brat Pack at 20, and one of Hollywood's top stars to this day, Rob Lowe chronicles his experiences. Never mean-spirited or salacious, Lowe delivers unexpected glimpses into his successes, disappointments, relationships, and one-of-a-kind encounters with people who shaped our world over the last 25 years. These stories are as entertaining as they are unforgettable.

    N. Belle says: "Great Book and Great Story"
"Totally entertaining and who knew Rob Lowe"
    Overall

This was a great audio and to have his voice made it even better. Takes you through the 60's and 70's and since I grew up in this neck of the woods, it was even more endearing. I grew up in Santa Monica and graduated from Samohi and I never knew there was so much pain with young people going on in Malibu. Rob is so honest about his lifestyle and getting his act together. Yes, families and posterity is what really matters - leaving a legacy. Thank you for sharing your story

Barbara Demick's Nothing to Envy follows the lives of six North Koreans over fifteen years - a chaotic period that saw the death of Kim Il-sung and the unchallenged rise to power of his son, Kim Jong-il, and the devastation of a far-ranging famine that killed one-fifth of the population. Taking us into a landscape never before seen, Demick brings to life what it means to be an average Korean citizen, living under the most repressive totalitarian regime today.

I found this book haunting. Whoever knew? This book is gripping. Makes you feel so grateful for freedom. I love America. I am so grateful I was born in a free country. Want to be appreciative of your lifestyle. Listen to this book. A great historical novel

One of only sixteen unembedded American journalists who stayed in Baghdad's now-legendary Palestine Hotel throughout the American invasion of Iraq, NPR's Anne Garrels was at the very center of the storm. She brings us the sights, sounds, and smells of our latest war with unparalleled vividness and immediacy.
