"Truly uplifting!"
This continuation of the Sisterhood is beautifully done. The girls are still the same girls, but each grown into womanhood in a very realistic way. I am not one for crying, and I have to admit this book moved me to tears several times. The ending is GOOD!!! yay. :) I so tired of melodramatic sad endings. This book is full of hope and love and humor and makes clear for us the very meaning of true friendship. Even if you missed the first four books about the sisterhood, this story stands on its own, the characters finely developed. Overall, a great story to loose yourself in, loose your heart in, and count on a great ending.
""Nice Story, Zero Steaminess""
It is a nice story. The reader's accent lends well to the setting. But this isn't a romance novel in the traditional sense. Absolutely no action whatsoever at all *yawn*
"It was pure torture..."
I can't believe I slogged through this entire book, waiting for the characters, especially the guy, to develop some redeeming qualities. This story was very realistic in the worse sense of the word; which is, you get to listen to them suffer and complain about life for the whole story. Then, the ending is very melodramatic without any real point for the melodrama. When the two "star crossed lovers (sarcastic)" finally do get together, there is no real epiphany here. Unless you like suffering, don't bother with this one. I had to give it more than one star, however, because the writing was excellent, and the characters original and, at times, funny and entertaining. I hope the movie they made out of this book is an improvement.
