    What made the experience of listening to Flight Behavior the most enjoyable?

    Seeing the characters use their experiences to change and mature as the story develops.


    What other book might you compare Flight Behavior to and why?

    The Poisonwood Bible book had the same growth and development of the characters as this book.


    What does Barbara Kingsolver bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    She brings out the humor and lightheartedness of the story as well as the seriousness of the topic.


    If you could take any character from Flight Behavior out to dinner, who would it be and why?

    I would take Hester since there were a lot of layers to her.


    Any additional comments?

    No one can make a character come to life with both their weaknesses and nobility better than Kingsolver.

    The characters are imperfect yet likeable people easy to identify with.


    Who was your favorite character and why?

    I liked Earl for his basic decency.


    What about Elizabeth McGovern’s performance did you like?

    Her midwestern accent was entirely believable.


    If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Love conquers all.

    I was amazed at how much time was covered so thoroughly. It was almost epic like.
