yes, it is an interesting point of view. Having served in Iraq in 2003 with a Fleet Hospital within the combat zone, his story is very real and acurate and yet he was more involved in the urban warfare than my personal experience.
The physician's point of view. I have read other similar books but from a nurse's perspective.
It gives you an idea about what skills you need to hone - just in case our comfortable way of life should change.
As a part of the medical profession...we have forgotten how much medical technology has impacted on our lives and on our longevity.
I have even purchased the paperback to share with others
No I don't think so. Others who have read the whole series tell me to hang in there it gets better. I guess my feelings are I shouldn't have to hang in there to get to the best part of the story.
Less email, more development of the characters other that "how perfect and hot" they are
I hated the endless emails....part of the reason I read is to get away from day to day stuff- like email.
I love all his books. They aren't normally what I had read in the past. I had picked up the 1st book years ago...pretty much out of desparation for anything to read while deployed in Iraq with Fleet Hosp in 2003. Have been a fan every since. When ever a book comes out...I pretty much tell my husband I am doing "nothing" today. His response "Oh, another Mitch Rapp book"
the intrique, the travel, that he is a survivor....
I feel like we need a hero and Mitch Rapp fits that
A very interesting book. Very different than what I normal listen to. However extremely interesting how habit affects our day to day life AND how retail manipulates our habits to their benefit. Who knew so much study went into our every day to day purchases
I come from a medical background so I enjoyed the details of medical school/instruction and autopsies with an interesting story woven into the details.
I enjoyed the entire book. Having served in the Navy and stationed in Japan I enjoyed memories - that her descriptions of japan and japanese culture evoked.
No, I haven't but now would consider reading more their books.
