They're an iconic part of history's most celebrated birth. But what do we really know about the Three Kings of the Nativity, besides the fact that they followed a star to Bethlehem bearing strange gifts? The Bible has little to say about this enigmatic trio. But leave it to Seth Grahame-Smith, the brilliant and twisted mind behind Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies to take a little mystery, bend a little history, and weave an epic tale.

Ryan says: "A nice twist to the greatest story ever told."

I LOVED Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter so much!! I guess I expected more supernatural or zombies or something crazy in the book. I was bummed it wasn't more like Seth's other books. But I did appreciate how he was able to weave all through the story of Jesus and his family's flight to Egypt and there wasn't a trace of ireverenace! That took some skill and was masterfully done.

i want to give it 5 stars but when you compare it to Zombies and Vampire Hunter, I just can't do it.

In Reconstruction-era America, vampire Henry Sturges is searching for renewed purpose in the wake of his friend Abraham Lincoln's shocking death. It will be an expansive journey that will first send him to England for an unexpected encounter with Jack the Ripper, then to New York City for the birth of a new American century, the dawn of the electric era of Tesla and Edison, and the blazing disaster of the 1937 Hindenburg crash.

"Can't wait for the next one!"

Loved the story and how Seth weaves the fictional story into the historical narrative is simply brilliant. A fun and very engaging read to be certain. And the narrator did an excellent job with all the characters and truly taking me into the story and making me feel like I was actually witnessing the events taking place.

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Never read or listened to a King book before. I bought this cause the reviews were so high...I was BLOWN AWAY! The level of expertise in his writing and the amount of research and time taken to write this, wow. It was one of the best Audible Credits I've spent since "Ready Player One". Thank you Mr King for such a wonderful ride.

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

What did you love best about Ready Player One?

Being a child of the 80's I loved all the pop cultural references. The video game detail was unreal. I wish this was just one in a series of 10 such books from Mr Cline. SO GOOD!

What about Wil Wheaton’s performance did you like?

He was made for reading "nerd fiction" so great
