"Cute"
While I'm finding myself enjoying Shannon Stacey books and loving the Kolwaski family the plots are ok. But it's the characters that you fall in love with. How Ms. Stacey covers every aspect of an "Utterly Ideal Family". And I thinks it's beautiful how they sick together. And to see how the outsider, here it's Kerri, is slowly but surely turned in to a Kolwaski. And they all love every minute of it. Fun and enjoyable.
""That's it?????""
After following Sookie for outrageous ups & downs emotional & physical roller coasters for years I was certainly ready for the end to come. And while it worked out the way I assumed it would, it left me wanting more of a epilog type closer. Where we know exactly where everyone ended up. Just a short paragraph that would bring us up to speed with Sookie & the gangs life a year or two later. Aside from that it was an ok read.
"For the young & young at heart"
This teen labeled book is certainly different from the what teens are reading now. With it's beautiful peasant girl, a frog prince etc.. it's a refreshing change from darker vampire & werewolf stories. The author did a nice job adding entertaining twists to well know stories. While I would suggest buying the book to read to the littles for bedtime, the narrator does such a wonderful job with the story telling that you might just want to play it for them. So I would recommend this lovely story mostly for pre-teens & under.
"A Great addition to the Series"
Being a huge fan of a Good book series I would add The Lost Angels to my collection. The plots are a bit predicable in that from the start there will be a girl in danger, a guy or angel in this case who just happens to be handsome & strong beyond all reasoning saving her out of no where. At least the author truly makes it a fun ride. Gildart Jackson does a great job with the voices as usual. However his choice of using such a weird vocal pitch for the Angel of Death can be off putting from time to time. The best part of the book is the end when the author sets up the story for her up coming book which by the bit you get sounds like it's going to be worth the wait. I'm truly looking forward to that one.
"A Should Read for House Of Night Fans But,"
You don't have to be a House of Night fan to enjoy this novella. However, if you have read the series you'll certainly want to know why & how the beautiful vampire we all love to hate started to become so evil. Although I expected more to the story it still was entertaining to listen to & thanks to Caitlin Davies' wonderful narration it just got better. If you are a fan you'll want to get this great back story.
"Cole & Petkoff - Oh So Good Together"
No point in going on & on about the details JUST BUY IT. If you've gotten a Kresley Cole book, you already know you can't go wrong. If you haven't, GET ONE. Then get them all. With Robert Petkoff reading it's just too good for words.
"Just get it!!!!!!"
I have yet to listen to or read a Kresley Cole book that disappoints. The are just degrees of greatness. If you love sexy romance and action sprinkled with comedy....Get This & all of her books.
"A must read for "Wall Flowers" Fans!!!!!!"
The great thing about Lisa Kleypas' writing is that she takes a predictable storyline and adds enough twists to them that it keeps you going. Although one can always guess the ending before starting the story, she takes you on a ride that makes you long for the predictable happy ending while making you fall for & admire the male leads like Mr.Simon Hunt,Leo Hathaway & now McKenna. It's also great how she mingles the characters from different stories together to make a world where these beloved characters really come to life.
"So Amazing!!!!!!!"
Every single book from this series is a "Can't go Wrong"! They all make you laugh out loud @ times thanks to clever writing & thanks to Nix while it also gets your blood pumping. I have read all in the series and each one is better than the last but Robert Petkoff truly brings them it life. Can't wait for the rest of the books to be on audio.
"Much Better than the first book"
The love between Tristian and Ivy truly is touching. She utterly misses him and doesn't know how to move on. Tristian is trying to keep her save from who ever is trying to harm Ivy while also trying to accept that they will never be together. All of this and heart stopping ending.
"Nice story"
I truly love this idea. The choice narrator could have been better but Ms. Raudman is ok. I've heard worse but other than that the writer gets enough of your attention to make you want to get to the next book.
