This is not my usual reading material being a 59 year old female, but I appreciated it immensely. The reader did an excellent job and the writing was riveting. I learned a lot about the Vietnam War that was probably quite authentic based on comments from friends back then. This is not a happy story with a wonderful ending but a realistic view of war in a jungle far away. I would recommend it to everyone to read!
I am giving up after the second section turned into harlequin romance novel porn with absolutely no redeeming aspects. The whole story is ridiculous anyway. I really don't care if she stays in lala land or finds her way back to her own time...sorry but this is one of the worse books.
Bad narration overcomplicated by the foreign words and the seeming importance of over using them. I have made it several hours into the book and am not sure if I will continue, it is so boring. So in short, boring story, bad narration and not completely in English. Save your money!
I enjoyed every minute of this book. Yes, sometimes it detailed a lot, but you get in the southern drawl groove and it all fits. Great reader.
This is the second of three books about Lisbeth Salander. It will be hard to find another book or series as good as these were, now that I am done.
