"Something here really stinks to high heaven," writes Erich von Däniken. "In Twilight of the Gods," says von Däniken, "I document precisely what it was that left the first visitors breathless as they stood before the mighty stone blocks some 400 years ago. I will show you what archeologists discovered hundreds of years ago and demonstrate how much has been destroyed over the centuries. Intentionally.

There is a plethora of incredible information in this book. Von Daniken is very well versed in the sciences. I loved it!

This was way too negative. It left me feeling depressed and sad.
I read for enjoyment and this was not enjoyable or not even educational.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

There was too much violence and too many gruesome details of torture and death.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Robert J Sawyer is a much more pleasant read.

Did Crux inspire you to do anything?

I had to find something happy to read every time I put that book down.

This was the most frustrating Audio Book because I could not hear what the narrator was saying. Loud music was playing constantly, and half of the time, it was dreadful Hard Rock screaming noise.

For years, people have feared that sexual material removed from victims of alien abductions might lead to the creation of something that modern science considers impossible: hybrids of the alien and the human. They would think like aliens, but appear human, and be able to do something that full-blooded aliens can't: walk the earth freely.

I am very disappointed with Whitley. I have read a few of his books. This one is not typical for him. The violence is unnecessary. I don't need to know how it feels to have your skin ripped off and your eyeballs removed. Screaming children who are being tortured was just way too much for me. I could not finish this book.
