I was fortunate to have read American Assassin first, i was familiar with the character. I would recommend to anyone do the same. That book is good too.
That i found myself cursing, laughing, and i actually got so nervous i turned it off once just to gather myself. That ladies and gents is what I call, a Good book. I could not wait to give a review.
The satisfaction at the end, the moment of recognition. hard work pays off sometimes.
one Man, one Mission, one bullet....
From now on I will disregard any reviewers that complain about narrators. I was so afraid to buy this book that most said was crap. Talking guy did a fine job in my opinion, and the story was great. If u want better production, buy a movie, close ur eyes and listen to them. clear voice and a good story is all you are gonna get with this one. Just one guys opinion.
Its just nice to find another good character that kicks ass
guy minding his own, then all hell breaks loose.
well, he did not make me want to stop listening so that is a plus in my book
yeah, not many men can perform surgery on themselves and not cry like a little girl.
good dude book
It is a well written story, good character development and good pace.. cant ask for more
Well it is the first detective book Ive dared listen to.
Dick Hill is a pimp. Makes it easier to choose a book if he is the narrator.
I like the choices the main character makes. there is not a lot of nonsense in his problem solving
Its a real good read if you like a good story and good pace. Its a dude book for sure..
At some point, most likely.
Unusual main character, Not farfetched though. I guess when the main character bared his fangs, it was an early warning to everyone that the character and situations will be unexpected.
Cant say with certainty, and too lazy to check.
I refuse to cry listening to an audio book. That's chick stuff. I do recall saying 'Daaang
This is my introduction into the horror thing. If half the books are as good as that one, then i think ill have something else in the rotation.
stop asking me that
The main character, i like conflicted heroes. Plus he kicks butt and does things the hard way sometimes.
the battle with the demons. Mayhem is cool.
finding his employee dead. I liked the dude.
I would stop trying to compare audio and video versions of stories.. concentrate on questions about the performance or production. I have bought books after hearing them, and i have bought audio after reading the book first. who cares.
why ask something like that?
It was a good story. painted a decent picture in my mind. dude was able to create enough tension for me to rewind a few times.
when the gun was tossed. That was a moment. The choices we make.
Life is full of hard choices, some cost more than others.
At some point, sure.
The first hand to hand fight.
If circumstances were ideal, i would have considered it.
Richard. He's stupid and dumb, but he is not a punk.
smiles, some old guy making girlie voices. lol, the voice sets the mood most times.
all range of emotions. good stories do that.
looking forward to the character development in the upcoming audio books.
