This book is a masterpiece of literature! One of the most amazing books I have ever experienced! Simon Vance is awesome as usual. The writing is exquisite and conveys emotions I did not think possible in the written word! Sit back and be amazed!!!!!! Worth listening to for a second time just to hear human emotion and life described by this author!
Everything! Simon Vance, the story, the writing is superb!!!! You must experience this book!
Frankenstein! and his monster is second.
Yes, this book brought tears and terror to me! This book is a look into the human condition itself.
I will have to listen again, it is so wonderfully written. I did not know such beauty existed in a book!
It is a decent book, about average. The forgotten soldier and Marine Sniper: 93 Confirmed Kills ,Carlos Hathcock are much better books.
I enjoyed it but it is a story that unfolds and once you know all the twists and turns it is not the same the second time. I enjoyed this book and have a feeling Neil Gaiman will turn out to be a favorite author for me. I immediately started a second one of his.
I really like the way he reads the story. Normally, it is a big mistake to have the author read the book but not with Neil.
Too long for that
I enjoyed this book and Neil's performance. My favorite audible book ever is still "the book thief". Everyone should listen to that one!
An enjoyable listen.
No. Lynn Redgrave is wonderful. I had to return the next book in series, ink spell, because the narrator was awful. I will have to read Inkspell and then listen to Inkdeath. Allen Courdener narrates and he was wonderful in The Book Thief!
Enjoyable for all ages.
This is a great listen. Powerful, not for the faint of heart. A must read for everyone. Top 3.
Pure and realistic.
This is a powerful book. Will not disappoint
do not know
when he said the only time he felt bad was when he missed because he knew that soldier would kill Americans
when he killed the sadistic female enemy soldier that would torture Americans
Carlos Hathcock: The original one shot, one kill
i really enjoyed this story about a real American hero
