Although I have read many books by this author, I am very disappointed in readers. They make the book sound like it is for a kindergarten child.

Would you try another book from Jason Matthews and/or Jeremy Bobb?

This could have been a good read except for all of the cooking, eating, recipes....I don't think I could read another of Jason's books. I do love cooking but this was just a little too much. It did take away from the story a great deal!

Would you ever listen to anything by Jason Matthews again?

    No!

Would you listen to another book narrated by Jeremy Bobb?

    Yes

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Could have been a good story line if the cooking references were left out.

A serial killer is on the loose, and it’s up to FBI agents Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock to bring him down. They soon discover the killer has blood ties to an infamous and now long-dead monster. Savich and Sherlock are joined by agents Lucy Carlyle and Cooper McKnight, and the chase is on. At the same time, Agent Lucy Carlyle learns from her dying father that her grandfather didn’t simply walk away from his family twenty-two years ago: he was, in fact, murdered by his wife, Lucy’s grandmother.

Jacquelyn Thomas says: "Story good, female reader almost ruined it."

I am a former fan of C Coulter (reading) but this is the second one I have listened to on Audio and it is a total disaster with the readers Coulter is hiring. They are ruining her books! It will be hard to get through this book, they read like first graders. They don't have any idea how to make the characters sound serious or real. I am so disappointed the second time around. I tried this because it was a different reader than the first one but still a disaster. I am a true fan of audio but the readers are the ones that can make or break a truly good book.

Lucas Davenport has had disturbing cases before - but never one quite like this, in the shocking new Prey work from the #1 New York Times best-selling author.

Maura Smith-Mitsky says: "Get off Richard Ferrone's back!"
    "Narrator big disappointment"
    Overall

I am an avid fan of the Prey series by John Sanford. It was very difficult to listen to this novel due to the reading of Richard Ferrone. He said, she said was most irritating along with his poor imitation of the characters. If someone had not read previous books, they would stop right here and assume it is the writer.

Lacey Sherlock's life is forever changed when her older sister's body is discovered in an abandoned warehouse. She is the fourth victim of the String Killer, the name given by the media to a murderer who leads his victims into a maze with a ball of twine. Seven years after Belinda's death, Lacey, now an FBI agent, is paired up with computer whiz Dillon Savich, who has developed a predictive program to aid in the apprehension of serial killers.

Again I have been disappointed by the reader in this book. I hope better narrators are selected for Catherine Coulter's future audio books.

I am a fan of Catherine Coulter but I feel the book has been ruined by the narrator. The characters can't even be respected due to the poor reading of this book. I have felt this about all the books I have listened to of Catherine's. I guess it will be better if I just read her books.
