"Outstanding"
I work out on a regular basis (4-5 days per week). I like to lift weights, but am not a fan of cardio. I have never been able to stay on a program that will burn fat, and I never can motivate myself to do a lot of abs. This program is great; it mixes up the workouts and keeps your body guessing day after day. Within about two months, I noticed a dramatic difference in my body and overall fitness level. I would have considered myself to be in pretty good shape prior to this audiobook, but after completing this course I wasn't even close to my potential.
"You'll start cheering for the bad guys"
God awful, painful to listen to, and it goes nowhere (much like the characters in the book). I was dumbfounded when I heard this was going to be a movie. Like Seinfeld, it's a story about nothing...we don't know what happened, what is going on, or what happens when they get there. The kid is annoying, and the dad's constant "it's okay" response is overplayed. I actually liked the description of this book too, it seemed promising.
"What's the fuss about?"
I was told that I had to read this book. I was told that it was a lifechanging piece of literature. I don't get it. Although I agree that having a positive outlook on life will typically bring better things, I can't quite force myself to swallow the concept of this book. When people start talking about how bills keep showing up in the mail because they keep thinking about bills, they lost me. Bills continue to show up in the mail because people continue to buy useless shit they don't need. It has nothing to do with the universe making the bills appear in the mail. No amount of wishing or hoping or dreaming or pretending or anything else the author suggests is going to make your credit card company forget that you paid $495 for a hand carved statue of a monkey riding on the back of a giraffe. I know, I know...It was am impulse buy, and it was near the register. Anyway, forget this book. There is nothing new about it's content. I'll sum it up for everyone and save you some money. Be positive and act as if what you want out of life is already happening to you.
"Outstanding"
Very long but well worth the time
"Only okay"
great info, but the examples get old after a while. I tried reading the book years ago and had the same problem. I'll save you time and money...Always focus on what the other person wants.
"Great book, keeps the action moving"
This book kept the action moving, it was good listening. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an entertaining read.
