I'de cut about half of it out, not as good as previous books.
narrator was fine
I usually love this writer and enjoyed the story as much as I could understand.
Mush mouth, couldn't you find someone who spoke clearly.
Great believable tale
Finding the Nasty teeth
I always enjoy listening to a good story
just enjoyed all of it.
Well it's not Hiaasen. Was pretty disappointed it's not his regular humorous tales. It's pretty depressing.
Depends on what they were looking for.
As always I enjoyed Pat Conroy. I believe he is a great writer. However, I am begining to think there is an underlining attempt to get the rest of the world to hate the apparently over pompous residents of old Charleston. God forbid if they are really as bad as Chad and his parents. Have only been there once as a tourist and they all seemed eager enough to take my money.
I have only listened to about an hours worth so far, but have found myself laughing out loud a number of times. Hiaasen's off the wall descriptions of people and places are still hilareous. Especially to those of us who have lived in Florida for many years.
