Devon Brady is a veterinarian working in a makeshift hospital at an island search and rescue site. When Jude Marrok arrives with his wounded black lab, she has no idea that she is about to be plunged into a whirlwind of terror, destruction, and passion. The last thing Devon needs is to be drawn into Marrok's high-stakes game. And while she feels increasingly drawn to him, she doesn't trust him. Is Jude her salvation or her damnation? Are the secrets he's protecting worth killing for?

    "Great book, FANTASTIC Narration"
    Overall

The writing was really good and kept you on the edge of your seat, but paired with Joyce Bean's narration, was fantastic! I had to keep reminding myself that she was doing all the narration by herself. She's a pleasure to listen to and her timing is unparalleled in my opinion. I will be looking for more books she's narrated to listen to!

Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father—the one responsible for ruining her mother's life. Then she's captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unlikely partnership. In exchange for help finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She's amazed she doesn't end up as his dinner…are there actually good vampires?

Stephenie says: "Great series. Worth every credit."
"Fabulous! You won't give Twilight a second glance"
    Overall

Jeaniene's writing is creative and fast paced and I certainly don't want to take anything away from her, but... Tavia brings the story to life. I have no doubt that her narraration is what keeps so many listeners coming back again and again. I have listened to the whole Night Huntress series and am already in my second Night Huntress World audiobook. I am leaving my review here for anyone looking at starting the series. The sex scenes can get a little graphic, so I wouldn't recommend this for younger readers, but for those of us that enjoy the sexy, dangerous, and romantic vampire books not based on high school, you can't get any better. Tavia makes it so easy to determine who is speaking and her accents are FABULOUS! She is so easy to listen to that you have to remind yourself she is one person doing all the narraration. I will be searching out my next book or series by Tavia's name. I sure hope she does other books that have as good an author as she is a narrarator!

Kat Richardson excels at creating vivid, fast-moving novels that blend urban fantasy with paranormal mystery. In Greywalker, Seattle P.I. Harper Blaine is viciously attacked and murdered - but after exactly two minutes, somehow she returns to life. Now she's seeing strange things all around her - dark visions from the shadow world - and living a normal life may no longer be possible no matter how hard she tries.

Nathan Caroland says: "A fun take on the paranormal ..."

The narration wasn't that great. It was hard to discern the characters.
