"Great book"
I was a little worried about getting this book because I didn't know if it was really my cup of tea but after only about a hour in I was hooked. I plan to buy the rest of the series.
"Sould be a series."
This book is great. Like all of Brandon Sanderson's books, it has a unique magic system, great story, and leaves you wanting more. I can't believe he didn't turn this in to a series.
"Best fantasy series ever!!"
This book is what first turned me on to Brandon Sanderson's books. To this day it remains my favorite book series. There is nothing bad you can say about these books. Fantastic plot, amazing magic system, the settings are stunning, Characters are all very unique.
10 out of 10.
"Amazing!"
This novel is a little slower then some of Brandon Sanderson's other other books but it is still fantastic. Like always he has developed a magic system new and exiting. A true work of art!
"To Kill a Mockingbird with an alien."
The book starts off great but quickly becomes boring. I kept waiting for something to happen, alien's to invade, mass destruction, just something... but nothing ever did. If you enjoy classical novels like To Kill a Mockingbird then this book might be for you. I personally find this kind of thing boring. Who wants to read about a court case? No one, that's why people get out of doing jury duty.
"Not quite as good as the others but still good."
An interesting look into how Moiraine started her quest to find the Dragon Reborn. Well worth your time.
"Starts off weird but quickly becomes amazing!"
Orson Scott Card really out did himself with this one. The first three hours are going to be a little weird but if you can make it past that, you wont regret it. The book becomes so fast paced that if you were to listen to 10 minutes of it, it would take you 10 minutes to describe what is happening to some one else. Trust me, you have to read this book!
"I had such high hopes for this book."
No, I wouldn't wish this book on anyone.
Sam is a talented narrator and quite honestly is the only reason I was able to finish listening to this book.
NO! I would rather have a prostate exam rather then to see this piece of trash in the theater.
There are so many things wrong with this book I don't even know where to begin.
The romance was a joke. Both characters were showing signs of being in love from chapter one, ridiculous.
I couldn't stand all the talking creatures. A wolf, a faerie thing, a dragon! The thought of still makes me mad and I finished this thing weeks ago.
The magic system is aweful. I am more a fan of Brandon Sanderson and Robert Jordan, magic should have rules. But not in this book they don't. What you can do magic? Then you have the power of the gods! It was absurd! Magic should not be used to get the characters out of every situation.
Well I'm done ranting. If I haven't helped you decide not to waste a credit on this book yet, well then your probably going to buy it anyway.
