The content of the book is very good. I believe the content would be very relevant and useful to MBA students. It however felt as if the reader was screaming, I got very agitated listening to his performance and continuously had to turn down the volume because he kept on raising his voice in excitement. The frustration was exacerbated by the reader's nasal tone of voice. The reader raced through his reading. I believe one need to give the listener time to think about some of the concepts and the reader rushed through them without slowing down when explaining complexities.
Loud, fast, nasal
I loved the parts where Janis played her own songs and filled in the story with music.
You cannot read the book, it is specifically a audio book because there are musical sections incorporated with her story.
If I could, I would have. I was listening to it in the car... at some points I did not want to get out of my car.
The book is relevant to anyone that deals with people, be it work, church or being part of a sports club. The book helps you to identify the "certified assholes" and teaches you how to stay sane in an asshole infested workplace.
Audible: Please provide the asshole checklist in print so that we can download it an complete it on paper.
Who could ever think that it is possible to turn economics into such an interesting story! The writer has found a way to explain behavioural economics through the various experiments he has conducted. It is very interesting, insightful, useful and memorable.
Simon is an excellent reader. He read the part about the writer's childhood pain with such insight, it felt as if he was the writer.
