Roundhouse Publishing editor Kate C. Leever’s first letter to her newest legacy author was intended to impress upon him the growing demand for his “vampire romances.” Though he’d expressed little to no desire for publicity, book tours or the like, it was clear that this was a writer waiting to be broken out. Correspondence with Mr. Lucern Aregeneau tended to be oddly delayed, but this time his response was quick and succinct.

What a gread imagination and a gift for telling a story Lynsay Sands has. They hold my interest until the last word and I am always sorry to reach the last word.Sometimes I laugh out loud at the situations. I am listening to the series for the 2nd time, in order this time. There have been several narrators and all have done a really good job. Kirby Heyborne seems to be my favorite,he has a super voice in my opinion.

I am afraid Mr. DeMille is bored and finished with John Corey, this book is not up to the standard of the other series books and I waited so long for it. Scott Brick brings Corey to life as usual, I can't imagine anyone else reading these books. There was not as much wisecracking and very few jokes, which I missed. A good book because I really like the characters and the narration, but not a great book as usual.
