"Just Like Being IN on THE Discussions"
Yes! Listening to this book was like getting inside the meetings going on right now.
I had to try really hard not to confuse the current physical cliff drama with what is going on at present.
This is a must have for the political junkie on your gift list.
"Info You NEED to Know!"
Equal; which ever is best for your learning style.
The cost portion made me angry. Bit by bit, drip, drip, drip intrusion, eating away at our wallet.
Doctors leaving the medical field in mass - cannot blame them.
Yes, but I will be listening to it again and again.
To understand the tweeking and changing that will take place, you need to understand what's there now. YOU NEED TO READ THE BOOK - this affects everyone. (The world use to come here for health care; where are WE going to go.)
"Hear and Heed"
Read by the author about current topics
The people and situations are so relatable
Yes Not as entertaining as Bold Fresh ......, but this is more important to hear
Yes
Get a grip people, we have got to turn this country around!
"Heard to Hear-Abandoning your comfort zone"
It was presented well. Lots of individual stories. Not sure I liked his unbalanced approach. Heavy on guilt. He didn't seem to pratice what he preached. Maybe I was too hard on him, it just was too heavy.
Nope
NA
Yes, The Joy of the Lord would be a good subject
He read his own book. I do not wish to give my time to a book that has not been read by the author.
"Very Entertaining-a REAL Surprise"
EntertainingInformativeInspiring
Romey the worker.
My first
Yes, when ever he talked about making things work. You have to work with what you have.
Our current President had published two books-I read them both-before election day. I felt to be informed, I needed to read this book too. (I also like that the book was published well before the primary season when canidates morph.) It appears the choices will be between Obama and Romney. Romney is a problem solver. Listen to this book and get past the sound bites to what he thinks on a large variety of subjects.
"Serious-moments of humor"
I enjoyed hearing all about his early years and his interactions with others in Hollywood.
I expected it to be more inclusive. It just stops when he gets into movies.
I only get books read by the author. He tells you up front he hates his work and the person he was then. So, his reading it this was should not have been a disappointment.
His disappointment with the relationship he had with his father was moving. Especially the beating he took. He had a sad childhood.
"Very Funny-Inspring too."
I suppose if you grew up in the 60's you can relate to a number of his experiences. He was certianly not coddled, had to make it on his own. So in this way it was uplifting to see someone who works at life, thinks and keeps a cool head, can make it. Very much the American Dream, I think.
I laughed alot listening to this book. I feel sorry for the sisters who taught him in school but he got it back when he became a school teacher.
A pleasure to listen to-I will likely listen to it again, like a video you keep watching over and over.
"Textbook"
This is a really good book if you are looking for history. It is not a book for pleasure, at all. If the book really is about the unmaking of America he needs to get to it quicker or more directly. And we surely do have a mess here, but it takes alot of effort to understand.
Not sure.
It is a very monotone read. I usually like to listen to a book read by the arthor, and this one was, but no passion in this book.
It's not a stright through read. I'm still not finished.
It would be a good college course. That is if there were any feeling in the reading.
"Timely"
This book gives a good over view of the mess we are in now and how be got here.
yes, their voices are not similar
I found it informative. I already knew to cry, I work each day.
