Once again Julie Garwood has blown me away with her talent. This book like all of her books is excellant. Her FBI thriller's are some of the best I have read to date. This one is the same from the first to the last. Way to go Julie on another hit.
This fan simply adores all of Julie Garwood's novels. No matter if they are from far in the past or modern day. She pull's me right into the book. I love the way she brings the clan names through time into her present day F.B.I. series. The narration on this particular book was simply wonderful. Mikael Naramore did an excellent job. I swear it was a pure pleasure to listen to him read. This small gang of young boy's, jump right into the heart and stay there all the way through the book. Which sets you up for the following book's.
I simply howled out loud during the familiar court cases. As they were revisited in this short little book. Darn wish it could have been longer. But it set's the stage for the next brothers book. I will be looking forward to seeing it in the new books section. Hope everyone gets as big of kick out of this short story as I did.
This has to be one of the best books I have ever read or listen to. My complements to the author Nora Roberts on this well written book. Julia Whelan did a great job narrating and made it a pleasure to listen to the story. The girl Liz, aka Abigail cracked me up at times. She was like Spock on Star Trek. Of course it was due to her I.Q. And Brooks was just a down home guy, that gently pushes until he gets his way. Gosh wish she would make a series out of this book. Love this small town she ended up living in.
Oh yeah, Cade and Annie make a great team. Easy going H.S. Football Coach. And a DEA agent with an attitude. Kathleen Brooks has been put at the top of my all favorite Author's list. Not only is she classy, her books all have good story lines. I have stated before, her books are not for the sex scene fans. But if one likes good story plots they are for you. Eric G. Dove does a great job narrating the stories. Can't wait until the next Davies brothers book comes out in audio.
This book had it all for me. I laughed out loud. Got to play detective due to the mystery. Shed a tear or two. And held my breath at the suspense and surprise at the conclusion. The out spoken Grandma and her senior acting group, was a kick and a half. I hope they are in some of the other book's. If not I feel sure there will be something else to tickle the funny bone. Also the dog Bud and his gas. I am so looking forward to the next book and do hope it has the same narrator.
Good new Idea to bring Scotland Yard to the FBI. This particular book was still to drug out for my taste. I have always been a Catherine Coulter fan. Both in Regency and contemporary novels. Except for her don't die and evil characters of late. I simply quit buying any of her FBI books for awhile. Hopefully she will come back to the more realistic FBI plots plus this new twist. Good job both authors keep the good work coming. Also very much enjoyed the narrator's of the book.
I really liked both of these book's. And will be looking forward to the book of the third triplet.
The suspense and mysteries kept me hooked from the beginning to the end of each. The women in this family don't take much grief from anyone. And are ready to face or fight any situation they are confronted with. While the beginning is a little slow starting and drawn out. It is most needed for the whole story. Marguerite Gavin does an excellent job narrating also.
Ms Ella Grace you are an excellent writer keep the good work coming and you will continue to have a fan in me.
To bad this book left me hanging as will delete the other book by this author I have in my wish list. What in the heck is wrong with completing a book? All these cliff hanging books do is make me mad!!! Too bad so sad J.S. Cooper you lost a possible fan!
Julie Garwood is always a hit with me. I love how clever Peyton was with her slimy boss. And was on the edge of my seat when she was driving through the snow storm. Finn is a hero, even as a teenager. As always with it being an FBI thriller. This book has suspense, drama, & humor. So has it all as far as I am concerned.
What a neat series! My head wanted to spin when I saw these last two book's in the coming soon list. I jumped on them both and put them in my wish list. What a great way to end this particular story by using the main character's of Page and Cole in this episode. I have already listen to them multiple times. I will now be requesting the "Bluegrass Brother's" series. Which continues with Page's 5 brother's. Let's hope Audible will be able to get them for us.
