This story is NOT about identity theft. The unfortunate author DID have a TERRIBLE - and very instructive - time dealing with an unethical, unscrupulous, BIG & ARROGANT mortgage lender, which ended up unjustifiably wrecking her credit AND her marriage. And then, to make matters worse, she got on a credit merry-go-round with a healthcare provider that kept marking her paid bill as unpaid. But it's not identity theft. To her credit - and our benefit - she does insert many excellent tips & pointers throughout the book on how to protect yourself and your credit, which is why I give this book three stars rather than two... or one. I still want to know how to protect against - and mend from - identity theft. Narration is pleasant, easy to listen to.
