The Price family has spent generations studying the monsters of the world, working to protect them from humanity - and humanity from them. Enter Verity Price. Despite being trained from birth as a cryptozoologist, she'd rather dance a tango than tangle with a demon, and when her work with the cryptid community took her to Manhattan, she thought she would finally be free to pursue competition-level dance in earnest. It didn't quite work out that way...

Chloe Neill hit one out here. The only problem I had was near the end (spoiler warning) Mallory and Catchers moment should have included Bernar. Explaining that to my favorite Eastern European chef will be harder than their parents...

Anna Moder has just witnessed a shooting, seen her car pulverized, and rescued a wounded stranger - only to discover he's really a werewolf. And by her recent standards, things are actually looking up. Lycanthropes don't faze Anna. Doctoring a wolf pack outside Grundy, Alaska, is the closest thing to home life she's known in years. But hitching a ride to Anchorage with long-absent pack member Caleb Graham - that's a risk. Part of her itches to whack his nose with a newspaper. The rest is trying unsuccessfully to keep her own paws off every delicious inch of him.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely, humor, characters and stories by this author, read by this narrator, are as good as audible books get!

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

A tad less angst in the latter part of the story

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Life, for each character. Humor sly and pointed. And that fabulous voice....

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    I did.

    Any additional comments?

This authors works are as good as this genre gets. Hours of fun laughs and pleasure. I listen to them over and over. And that's because of the work and the reader being equally wonderful!

For a 2,000-year-old Druid, Atticus O’Sullivan is a pretty fast runner. Good thing, because he’s being chased by not one but two goddesses of the hunt - Artemis and Diana - for messing with one of their own. Dodging their slings and arrows, Atticus, Granuaile, and his wolfhound Oberon are making a mad dash across modern-day Europe to seek help from a friend of the Tuatha Dé Danann. His usual magical option of shifting planes is blocked, so instead of playing hide-and-seek, the game plan is...run like hell.

Would you consider the audio edition of Hunted to be better than the print version?

I didn't read it, nor have I read any of these on listened to the full set of volumes. But I keep coming back! They are so worth it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Oberon, you just have to love this telepathic adorable Irish wolfhound.

Which character – as performed by Luke Daniels – was your favorite?

    Again Oberon

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed, got concerned, felt the romance, enjoyed the humor, respected the insight and one up man ship over legends, and can't wait for the next volume. But I guess I will have to.

    Any additional comments?

This is a great series with unique insights and twists on the myths fantasy genre. This is the best book since the first volume. Keep em coming, more Oberon, more redheads...!

They killed me. They healed me. They changed me. Sure, the life of a graduate student wasn't exactly glamorous, but it was mine. I was doing fine until Chicago's vampires announced their existence to the world---and then a rogue vampire attacked me. But he only got a sip before he was scared away by another bloodsucker...and this one decided that the best way to save my life was to make me the walking undead.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

So it's chick lit vampire style, but I am a 50 year old conservative guy who got hooked on a pretty good series with these novels.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Some Girls Bite?

    Meeting Mallory

What does Cynthia Holloway bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Voices

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I laughed a place or two. But a 50 year old gentlemans perspective on some of this humor is different than the target audience's!

Since 1990, when Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time® burst on the world with its first book, The Eye of the World, listeners have been anticipating the final scenes of this extraordinary saga, which has sold over 40 million copies in over 32 languages. When Robert Jordan died in 2007, all feared that these concluding scenes would never be written. But working from notes and partials left by Jordan, established fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson stepped in to complete the masterwork.

What made the experience of listening to A Memory of Light the most enjoyable?

So after many years it is over, the anxiety of wondering when the next volume is coming out, and what the Author is doing next, where the characters I love are going, and who will win in the end! But oh it has been worth the wait. The main and sub characters of import all get their individual moment in the final light of the sun. Some surprises, some endings I didn't quite like or approve of. That's how it should be though. And this volume was a hard to put down, answer to many questions, suspenseful chunk of enjoyment. Bella, Hopper, Horn sounders, and Tower dwellers can run fast and free at last. Get this book and enjoy it. A 14 volume series has come to a glorious end!

What other book might you compare A Memory of Light to and why?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It is the only other series end, so widely and anxiously anticipated and awaited!

What about Michael Kramer and Kate Reading ’s performance did you like?

The constancy and delivery of their parts and characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

They said we couldn't make it. Two and a half centuries later, we proved them wrong.

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.
