The newly liberated humans of the Fleet of Worlds and Sigmund Ausfaller, who had been transported by the Puppeteers from Earth to the Fleet, must contend not only with the sly Puppeteers but also the threat of the Pak, a very smart and utterly ruthless species who are fleeing the exploding galactic core in an armada of ships at near light speed. The Pak are headed towards the Fleet of Worlds, having destroyed entire planets in their wake.

Would you try another book from Larry Niven and Edward M. Lerner and/or Tom Weiner?

    No, never.

What was most disappointing about Larry Niven and Edward M. Lerner ’s story?

The stupidity of the main characters. I couldn't handle listening to the rest of the series.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Tom Weiner?

The story was just bad... guess I was so angry at the characters, I found myself yelling at the voice telling me the story. I think it was the story not the voice.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Destroyer of Worlds?

The idiocy of the 'bad' guy getting chance after insane chance.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Yes, the editing and the insipid dialogue. How many predictable stupid times can they drink the tea!

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The snow. It was such a guy fantasy to have his 3 happy wives!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kate Reading and Michael Kramer ?

Narrators are fine... but really the editing and no one has fixed it and updated us? What a rip off!

    Any additional comments?

    Fix the audio, please.

Robust, peaceful, and confident, the Commonwealth dispatched a ship to investigate the mystery of a disappearing star, only to inadvertently unleash a predatory alien species that turned on its liberators, striking hard, fast, and utterly without mercy. The Prime are the Commonwealth's worst nightmare. Coexistence is impossible with the technologically advanced aliens, who are genetically hardwired to exterminate all other forms of life.

Would you consider the audio edition of Judas Unchained to be better than the print version?

The audio had technical difficulties. My download would seem to, after a pause, increase on it's own to uncomfortable volume. Enough that I had to turn it down. Then it would be too low and I would have to turn it up. It was not my i-pod it did the same when I played it on my computer.

What did you like best about this story?

So much is going on. The 'visual' stimulation is phenomenal and creative. It is most definitely thought provoking. But I did need to listen to it twice. I plan on going through the series a third time. I seem to get more each time.

Have you listened to any of John Lee’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Not sure. Again there is an auditory issue after he takes a break.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Riveting. Cohesive twists that puts the pieces together and you didn't know they were apart.

    Any additional comments?

Looking forward to seeing the movie and listening to book 3
