I enjoyed this book, but perhaps my expectations were a little high based on the reviews. I thought the plot and most especially the ending were somewhat predictable. I enjoyed the listen and thought the narrator did a good job in helping to keep the story engaging. I think I had it in my mind that this was another "Gone Girl" type novel, and it doesn't even begin to compare.

An easy listen while cleaning, but not one I am going to recommend to others.

I had downloaded this book with the intent of it being one of my lighter reads. I was pleasantly surprised. This is not your usual light read. It was a very emotional read for me. I found myself laughing and crying as I listened. It is difficult to write much about this book without exposing the story. My recommendation is to listen to it....I think it is a credit and time well spent!

This was a good light read...nothing unusual or extraordinary about it. I like to have a variety of books in my library, some lighter than others. If you are looking for an "undemanding" story that delves into friendships, relationships, and is comfortable story, this is a good choice.

I totally agree that the narration was a distraction. She reads much too quickly, and it took over a third of the book before I could concentrate more on the story and not be bothered by the narrator.

I like how Jodi Picoult takes current issues and produces an emotional fictional account. The Storyteller is all that but a little bit more. The different perspectives she includes are so thought provoking that I continue to consider them even after finishing the book. Although I have read Picoult's more recent books, they had lost some of their edge for me. They had become somewhat predictable and familiar. The Storyteller is my new Jodi Picoult favorite. I highly recommend this book and already have to my friends and family.

I will not spend a credit on a book that costs less than my purchased credit. So when buying a book in which I pay for it, I am particularly choosy. This was money well spent and time will spent.

Although I found some of the teen conversations a little too mature for the average teen, there is no doubt that this books deals with a not-so-teen subject matter. The struggles presented in this book are ageless and well written. Do not let the fact that it is YA deter you from listening. I would (and have) recommend this book to others.

I, for some reason,was not impressed with all the hype around this series, so I am a little late to The Hunger Games. Now I am hooked. If your hesitating, stop! Read now!

I am sad to say that I thoroughly disliked this book. I enjoyed “Confessions of a Shopaholic”. However, this is the same story with a different setting. I smiled my way through Confessions because this silly character seemed to learn from her mistakes. End of story? Nope. We get to read how Rebecca is NOT simply foolish in a charming way; but is just plain stupid (the chapel scene, really?). I enjoy a light, chick lit novel, I do not expect a literary masterpiece, but this book is just plain annoying.

I loved Christopher Moore's "A Dirty Job", so I was anxious to hear more from him. However, whereas I didn't want "A Dirty Job" to end, I'm ready to be done with "Lamb". I listened to the first four hours and was not disappointed, but now the characters seem to be getting stale and the humor is repeating itself....a lot. Not sure when I will finish this book and that is unusual for me.

Footnote: This is an enjoyable light read that keeps you smiling. Sophie Kinsella rarely disappoints.
