Single mom Lizabeth Kane isn't exactly carpenter material: She's never picked up a hammer in her life. But she desperately needs the construction job that builder Matt Hallahan is offering. And even though he knows trouble is ahead, Matt can't refuse Lizbeth's irresistible smile.

This was such a good old fashion refreshing story. I laughed listening to this book and it left a wonderful feeling. To think that an author can write a book that did not require sex talk, violence to make it really a lovely listen. Thank you. S

Thea Luckmore believes in love, the magic spark of true, old-fashioned, romantic love. She's determined only to fall head over heels, or rather, heart over head. Alice Heggarty, her best friend, is always falling in lust, with dashing rogues who invariably break her heart. As yet another disastrous relationship ends, Alice makes a decision. It's time to marry and she knows just the man.

Not bad, Freya North is always good for a bit of chick lit. Romance with some twists.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

    "Enjoyable"
    Overall

I wanted to read this book for a while now, but with such a hectic life style, when it came on audible - here was my chance. I even told my husband about the story and he asked when did i read the book. hahaha. This book was written very well and the narrators did the characters justice. It had its moments of sadness and then some funny parts, I enjoyed the book. Thanks Audible
