This was my first download and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I found myself sucked in and definately enjoyed the story. I am hoping that the author continues with this story and its characters.

Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys - Caleb, Fox, and Gage - went on a camping trip to the Pagan Stone. And 21 years later, it will end in a showdown between evil and the boys who have become men - and the women who love them.

    "Great story needs better narrator"
    Overall

I have to say I have always enjoyed Robert's books and this is another one to add to my list. The only problem I had was the narrators choice of voices was horrible. All the women were screetchy and annoying as well as Fox's which made it somewhat hard to listen to without cringing when one of them "spoke". This is a great gripping story, you just need to make it through the voices.

Twenty-something Harper Connelly has a gift. After being struck by lighting as a child, she discovered an eerie ability to locate the deceased. In Memphis, skeptical Professor Nunley wants her to demonstrate that skill at an ancient cemetery. There, Harper stands atop a grave and says there are two bodies entombed: one centuries old, but the other, a young girl named Tabitha.

I am a huge fan of this authors Sukie Stackhouse series and I thought I would give this a try. I read her first and was ok with it and I decided to try this one on audio and I was pleasantly suprised. It kept my interest though you could kind of figure out the who-done-it part. Its not the same calibur as Sukie but still entertaining.

But now, from Nevada to North Carolina, the rejoined battle will measure the endurance of their people.

I enjoyed this story but the voice of the female narrator is whiney and grating. I found myself wanting to listen but cringing at the sound of the voice. I'm definately looking forward to the next story and thrilled its not the same narrator.
