Steele "bit__" sums it up.
Pace was so fast. You have to pay attention. Great dialogue, simple, but paints a fast clear picture. Great military dialogue. It makes you want to learn military speak.
Avery and Larkin. I purchased this book as I love Ms Gordon's sexy male voices.
yes, when the special borg's expire
this is not my type of listen, but I buy most of Ms Gordon's reads. This was just great as read by Ms Gordon.
I love stories of men towns, but it takes a great female voice for men IE: Tatiana Solkov, Karen White, Gabra Zackman or Natalie Ross. This had a good outline, but audio needs sexy men's voices from female reads.
Story had potential
she needs to take a page out of Tatiana Solkov aka Tanya Eby. I am not crazy about her T.B. voice, but her deep T.S. male voice has given her lots of work. C.C. needs a deeper voice. C.C. was good with MacLoad Andrews in Karen Robards Hunted.
I thought this readers' AKA was Tanya Eby, but I was mistaken
Papa's hot story
this whole series is a saga, which makes you want to start at book #1. You must be able to take the F bomb in all the male voices. Each book is different and brings a lot of characters and imagination to this saga. I don't always agree that you have to start with book #1. (the reader in #1 was not great for male voice hence change to T.S) however, I happen to start with #1 but #2 was better due to the readers.
T.S. is suburb in her male voices. Sean Crisden, (AKA John Dan Miller, is hot! Check him out in Nora Roberts Pagan Stone.) He uses S.C. name for erotica type stories or ones that have strong language. The reviewers of this series made the producers change from Todd to Sean as Todd did not use his deeper voices.
if you listen to all the stories, you can figure out the teaser at the end of this book from the author. I can't wait for the story when author finally writes it.
Sweet, strong, Determined
this whole series is a romance saga, biker style. Well done and imaginative. You must be able to take the F bomb in almost every male sentence.
T.S, aka, Tanya Eby is great and also reads Madeline Sheen books. This author's stories are just a bit better from #2. Both author's did a fantastic job on #1. Todd Haberkorn aka, MacLeod Andrews is good, but he does not use his deeper voice in this series. He has a full range so don't give up on him...his deep voice is SEXY! Check out Nora Roberts series, Boonsbough #3 Ryder's story!
When Hunter chooses Em
just, audio edition. If you need a break from tension and the mess in news, this is a good short story to get your blood pumping again.
this is about the men in this series, hot sex, and I mean hot. If you DO NOT like erotica, this is not for you. These men share and are imaginative!
Yes, and she reads erotica or hard core subjects under this name, which was why I purchased this series. Her T.S. males are as sexy as they get. AKA Tanya Eby for mainstream reads. I only wished she had read Sandra Browns Exclusive as T.S. instead of T.E., IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN HER MALE VOICES.
Ruger is hot, determined and focused. This series has more story than the Madeline Sheehan #2. Both this author and MS #1 books are not to be missed. Too bad Stella Bloom did not have the great male voice needed to carry this series.
Well, TS is great and carried this book. Unfortunately Todd did not use his deeper voice as I am sure that was the deal to be able to use TS in this series. Todd does have a deeper male voice he uses for his other reads. I have not placed Todd's AKA, as I own so many books to go back and figure it out.
when Sophie decided to put an end to abuse.
I will get Em story after listening to book #4. I an hoping that TS carries that book as she did in this one. #4 has a different male reader and for all I know ,Todd used his deeper voice, but I will not be able to tell until I hear it. This series needs deep male voices to make the strong bikers real, which TS has. Unfortunately, Todd's higher pitched biker voices failed to get the job done.
no, I own too many more to be listened, but it was cute. Author should start book 2 from this outline
she really brings out a good character
yes as this was way too short
Ok, I started with book 4 as that was Kades' story and it was yummy. However, these are NOT stand alone listens. The author ends the book with the start of the next book. Author does do some light reference to previous books making you think you must buy those. Frankly, you must love the 2 brothers, which I do, and A.D. male voices to start at book 1. I have read #4,#3, and I will have to listen to #2 & 1 before #5 . I purchased all 5 and they have not disappointed me, as the author got better with her dialogue as she wrote. I can't wait to get to book #5, but 1st will have to listen to the 1st two books as I should have.
Kade is just so irreverent and sexy. Blane is a hunk. The female is not my fave, but the author kept you listening with her take on the 2 brothers, HOT!! These are not erotica books. More of an on going romance/mystery. Nothing too deep or heavy, but the relationship of 2 brothers with the lead female carrying the series. If the brothers were not so much a part of this series, I would have stopped as this female lead is not my fave. She has too much emotional baggage. Every author wants a series, look at JD Robb, but this author did not know how to better develop the female lead so she could write past #5.
I have downloaded about 15 of her reads as I love her male voices. She takes some getting use to on her female voice, so beware as many other reviewers had a different take on my new fave reader. I like Natalie Ross, Karen White, Gabra Zackman, and the late great Ms Anna Fields.
Two Brothers, oh wait, they already have a film of 2 tigers with that name.
The cost of this series is under $10 and so worth the listening time. Enjoy
this book came out as a trilogy and MOOSED Up is one of the stories I wanted and listened. Note: I have note listened to the other 2 stories as I write this, but Moosed up was such a disappointment, that I am not interested in listening to the other 2 books. I just purchased 20 other stories on sale and they have much more potential. I purchased this to hear lots of humor and got very little from Moose Up.
The outline talked about a moose who did funny things, and all humor was on the synopsis and not much more. The 3 hrs were just an outline and this could have been so much more fun if the author/editor fleshed it out with extended humor. This had the makings of such fun.
I am so done with Erin Bennett AKA MacKenzie Cartwright. She has gotten a chance as Erin Bennett do read better works, but for Me, she is not worth the buy. No real male voice and her female voice can not carry a read unless the story is just one you do not want to miss. i.e. The Four Horseman/Apocalypse series.
No cut, just write with more depth as the story had a good start but the one I read seemed more of an outline.
book 1 is a must if you start this series. I thought this story was going to be gruesome, but that was not the case. Author does a nice job of continuing the saga and make no mistake these are core romance with foul language. If you can not take the F bomb in almost every sentence, then this series is not for you.
author does a nice job of weaving characters in and out of her stories/series. This is an adult soap opera that is fairly simple about brotherhood and the "bitches" that are in them. Author takes some really tough guys and shows their emotional side.
She has the male voice down so much better than when she reads as Tanya Eby, or it could be the material she is reading. Biker speaker "yeahaah". She did such a nice job on this series, she took over another series that Stella Bloom read book 1
If you like TS, then check out her reads as Eby or Cassandra Campbell.
Note: I would not recommend buying all of this series at one time. This is pretty harsh dialogue and one needs to have some space between each story.
If you are a Jill Barnett fan, then this was an auto download and long awaited. I found it on audible when surfing my old fave authors. If you are a classic romance lover, then this is for you.
This was written in the 80 or early 90's and reflects the romance writing of that time. If you did not enjoy that period or are new to classic core romance, beware.
She did a great job of Joy, but not so much on our beloved Duke. The core romance story carries this book.
With all the vampire stories now on film, this would be in line with Maleficent, but a softer tone.
