"Great Family Story"
I love having selections that I can listen to with my family on road trips or even just on a quiet Sunday afternoon. This totally fits the bill!
"Great Family Read"
This is the sequel to the amazing "Emerald Atlas" and is the second in a trilogy. My children and I cannot wait for the third book to come out! I think that the narrator does a stupendous job and the story itself is fantastic. There are elements of other popular fantasy books in this series, but it definately stands on its own in this genre. The voice is unique. The characters are memorable. The story is incredible.
"Great essay!"
I loved this essay! It was a great story and well-told. I expected little since it was a free gift from Audible, but I liked it more than a lot of books even!
"Eh...."
The performance was good, but little could save this story. I could not relate to or sympathize with the severely underdeveloped characters. There was also no real climax to the story... or even a plot... blech...
"Perfect for knitters!"
Heartwarming and fun... and relatable for any knitter out there. The performance was great and so were the stories.
"Not for me"
I actually did not like this book. I felt that it took too long for him to say what the point was. He took far longer pointing out why certain things were NOT correct, but offered little to support why his theory is.
It was well-read, however, and I can see why so many people enjoyed it. I simply found it unsubstantial.
"Loved it!"
This story was well read and my children and I could listen to it together. It was a great family book. I highly recommend it for long car-rides with the kids. For us, we just listened to the entire Inheritance Cycle together after dinner. I knit and my 11 year old did a little homework (the simple stuff) and my 8 year old drew while we listened together. I found that at dinner we were eating quickly and excitedly talking about what would happen next. It was a fantastic family reading experience.

Eragon is not a particularly
Saphira was my favorite character and I loved it when she met Brom and decided he was okay after he complimented her profusely.
I don't want to give it away, but yes. Eragon lost someone at the beginning and I found that to be particularly moving.
I think I've said it all!
