In the midst of a chaotic midnight assembly, Sunshine is forced outside into the darkness. Holding a scrap of paper scrawled with a stranger's name and address, Sunny grasps the hands of her three small children and begins her escape.

What did you love best about All Fall Down?

I loved the insight that the story gave to the reader about some of the different ways of viewing life. We often times don't take very good care of our bodies and in this story it proves the benefits of doing such and also how easy it can be to get carried away in bizarre beliefs.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When she decided to drug herself and her children to go to through the "gates."

When Arlene Fleet heads up north for college, she makes three promises to God: She will stop fornicating with every boy who crosses her path; never tell another lie; and never, ever go back to the "fourth rack of hell", her hometown of Possett, Alabama. All she wants from Him is one little miracle: make sure the body is never found.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the fact that Lena faces her fears and goes back home to set things straight.

    Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when Lena brought her black boyfriend back home to meet her all white and kind of racist family.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Troubles can be haunting

Nonny Frett understands the meanings of "rock" and "hard place" better than any woman ever born. She's got two mothers, "one deaf-blind and the other four baby steps from flat crazy". She's got two men: her husband, who's easing out the back door; and her best friend, who's laying siege to her heart in her front yard. She has a job that holds her in the city, and she's addicted to a little girl who's stuck deep in the country.

What did you love best about Between, Georgia?

I loved the relationship between Stacia and her daughter. Her determination to take in a child not born to her but "was hers" melted my heart.

What other book might you compare Between, Georgia to and why?

The Girl Who Stopped Swimming. The characters are almost the same... where Bet Clemmons comes from the wrong side of the tracks and in this book the cab trees are the same kind.

What does Joshilyn Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings a different personality to each character that I wouldnt have imagined for myself.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    OH most definitely!

    Any additional comments?

Yes another fantastic book written by Joshilyn Jackson!

It is definitely a top favorite!

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the mystery of how Molly ended up in the pool, dead. All the while Laurel figuring out answers of her who past.

Have you listened to any of Joshilyn Jackson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She did excellent as always. Couldn't have thought of a better way to preform those characters. Spot on!

Who was the most memorable character of The Girl Who Stopped Swimming and why?

Thalia is my favorite character for her eccentric attitude and charisma.

    Any additional comments?

What did you love best about A Grown-Up Kind of Pretty?

I loved the family secrets and the determination that bound them together.

What other book might you compare A Grown-Up Kind of Pretty to and why?

I would say its a lot like The Girl Who Stopped Swimming.

Which character – as performed by Joshilyn Jackson – was your favorite?

The grandmother had to be my favorite because of her spunk and strength and determination to keep her family together.

If you could take any character from A Grown-Up Kind of Pretty out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would take Liza out to dinner before her stroke because, I think we would have a great time laughing and having some drinks, just having a good time.

    Any additional comments?

Really well written and even better performance!

Rose Mae Lolley is a fierce and dirty girl, long-suppressed under flowery skirts and bow-trimmed ballet flats. As "Mrs. Ro Grandee" she's trapped in a marriage that's thick with love and sick with abuse. Her true self has been bound in the chains of marital bliss in rural Texas, letting "Ro" make eggs, iron shirts, and take her punches.

Would you listen to Backseat Saints again? Why?

Yes! I loved the characters personalities and could related to them in a way. The performance was right on and the southern accent was done just right!

What other book might you compare Backseat Saints to and why?

    Gods In Alabama
    The Girl Who Stopped Swimming
    Between, Georgia

    Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when Rose Me cut off all of her hair and got that spunk back in her and came out of her shell and took control of her life once again.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I had to force myself to take a break and even brought it to the restroom with me sometimes just so I didn't have to put it down.

Things should be great for Janie—she has graduated from high school and is spending her summer with Cabel, the guy she’s totally in love with. But deep down she’s panicking about how she’s going to survive her future when getting sucked into other people’s dreams is really starting to take its toll.

Where does Gone rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Gone would rank to be in the middle of a decent listen but isn't completely catching.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Janie found who her father was and that they both were Dream Catchers.

Have you listened to any of Ellen Grafton’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She did just as well as in the others shes performed in.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book did make me laugh a couple of times and tear up even. Especially, when her father died.

    Any additional comments?

It is a good read to pass the time. Janie's decision on what path she ends up choosing keeps you interested.
