Interesting stuff - but when I purchase a book I expect to get access to everything - like the password to access all the tables and diagrams as suggested by the narrator. I emailed the publishers to see how I could access the above but got no response. It's like buying half a book. How much would it take to say,"Look, to access the drawings and doodahs will be an extra five dollars, but to have the gall to call the publication - unabridged is a load of shift. Very disappointed, I was hoping Mr. Keller was going to help me in my real estate career but he didn't deliver the goods. I think Audible should be taken to task for only 1/2 selling something. I wouldn't have purchsed the audiobook if I knew that I wasn't getting the 'unabridged' version - which should give me access to book's website.
I enjoyed Absolute Power, but found Last Man Standing dull. I know it is fiction - but you can only expect your reader to suspend disbelief for so long.... The plot was full of holes and ludicrous. Maybe the next one will jolt me.
Deceptive and alluring. He hooks you and then he reels you in....
Mishkin and Crisetti
I didn't like SH's narration at first, I found his voice a tad tedious, but he won me over.
I really liked it, just like I found "The forgery of Venus' enthralling.
Mr. Gruber is making me lose sleep.
don't know only listened to it on audio
Gruber is very versatile. good escapist listens.
In the very backwoods of middle earth somewhere, there must be a Golom who might think this 'a treasure'.
The fact that I was conned into buying it by mindless pleb reviews - 'the best I've read' obviously never got beyond the back of a cereal box.
Sadly, he was breathing, best for all if the tape was blank and we could have got our money back. Shouldn't give up his day job!
Are you kidding me? I would depth charge the whole enchilada. There is no plot and these aren't characters - they are cocaine raves. It upsets me that I wasted my money on drivel - but never fear, I won't stay close to another Coben reverie.
I am on to Mr. Coben - he has obviously retired and is outsourcing his writing beyond the shores of North America, probably cyberspace. I am seriously thinking of giving up my membership if this is the best Audible can muster.
Well, definitely not his best!
great yarn. Great entertainment. well read. His best yet!
