Hollywood's newest wunderkind is Peter Alan Nelson, the brilliant, erratic director known as the King of Adventure. His films make billions, but his manners make enemies. What the boy king wants, he gets, and what Nelson wants is for Elvis Cole to comb the country for the airhead wife and infant child the film-school flunkout dumped en route to becoming the third biggest filmmaker in America.

This book is an easy and ejoyable read but the narrator is the wrong voice for Elvis Cole. James Daniels in the voice of Elvis Cole.

I have been reading this series from the beginning and have ejoyed seeing the author and the characters in his books grow.

Cain is a scarred but proud man haunted by a terrible skill: the ability to track people who don't want to be found. Rosetta is a runaway slave fueled by the passion and determination only a mother can feel. And she will risk everything for the promise of freedom.

The sum of this book was not worth listening to the ethnic and sexist slurs to get to the end. I gained no large historical context and found no surprise in the ending.
