"The Protector"
The story was well set. The agency used to protect the wealthy and famous was entirely believable. The fact that this elite service hired only the best from the various government services was also quite believable.
I enjoyed the way the author provided background information about the actions of the principle character without boring you with unnecessary lines of trivia.
All in all an exciting story. I'm now looking for a sequel.
"The Scorpion's Gate"
The basic story was fair however the author spent far too much time expressing his political view points through his characters.
It was disappointing to listen to what I thought was a spy thriller and find the book is only a weak story used as a forum to express the author's dissatisfaction with our country's efforts to encourage democracy.
