  • Becoming Steve Jobs: The Evolution of a Reckless Upstart into a Visionary Leader

    • UNABRIDGED (16 hrs and 21 mins)
    • By Brent Schlender, Rick Tetzeli
    • Narrated By George Newbern
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

There have been many books - on a large and small scale - about Steve Jobs, one of the most famous CEOs in history. But this book is different from all the others. Becoming Steve Jobs takes on and breaks down the existing myth and stereotypes about Steve Jobs. The conventional, one-dimensional view of Jobs is that he was half genius, half jerk from youth, an irascible and selfish leader who slighted friends and family alike.

Douglas Vincent says: "Contextual, Insightful, Inspiring"

Not the usual bio, a real look at a real human being through human eyes and hearts. I loved every minute of the listen...and yes, I have an iPad, iPhone, Mac, iPods and soon will have the watch. I carry the vision daily and appreciate the life lived in all its humanity.

  • The Company: A Novel of the CIA

    • UNABRIDGED (41 hrs and 22 mins)
    • By Robert Littell
    • Narrated By Scott Brick

"If Robert Littell didn't invent the American spy novel," says Tom Clancy, "he should have." In this spectacular Cold-War-as-Alice-in-Wonderland epic, Littell, "the American le Carre," takes us down the rabbit hole and into the labyrinthine world of espionage that has been the CIA for the last half-century. "Ostensibly a single novel, The Company can also be listened to as an anthology of cracking good spy stories," says (Publishers Weekly).

Cynthia says: "Hang on to your Hat"
"lovely, in depth and detailed web of CIA life"

Incredible, detailed and exciting. It takes a lot to keep me going with an audio book and this one has my rapt attention, i am winding down to the end and i want it to go on endlessly. great narration as well. The book is a great orchestration of events and people who draw you in. I have loved every second of the listen. This is a one in a decade book. This one was just as good for me as Clancy's Cardinal in the Kremlin, but even more clearly detailed and concise. a book for the ages...........Congratulation to Littell, Brick and every reader or listener......

  • Hunting Eichmann: Chasing Down the World's Most Notorious Nazi

    • UNABRIDGED (12 hrs and 36 mins)
    • By Neal Bascomb
    • Narrated By Paul Hecht

Best-selling author Neal Bascomb has garnered critical acclaim for such riveting nonfiction as Higher and Red Mutiny. Based on extensive interviews and previously classified details, Hunting Eichmann is a compelling account of the relentless hunt for the nefarious Adolf Eichmann.

Scott says: "A Fascinating Story of Eichmann's Capture"
    "Thankful and great"

As the family member of generations of Jews who were murdered under this mans watch I appreciate the story of his capture, his trial and his ultimate death. This book gave me a glimpse into the heart of darkness without recreating to deeply the horrors of who was lost and how they were lost. While telling the the detailed story of what Eichmann did, it is more about the courage and heart of those who died and mostly those who hunted and captured pure evil in human form. It is right that there has been only one death sentence and execution by the state of Israel and that was reserved for this creature of history. I listened with rapt attention to every word. Great audio book, great listen and great narration.
