When 28-year-old Lexi Smart wakes up in a London hospital, she's in for a big surprise: Her teeth are perfect. Her body is toned. Her handbag is Vuitton. Having survived a car accident - in a Mercedes no less - Lexi has lost a big chunk of her memory, three years to be exact, and she's about to find out just how much things have changed.

Eric Pyles says: "Liked the Storyline. Hated the Language."
    "Fun and entertaining"
    Overall

I'm a big Sophie Kinsella fan and this book didn't disappoint. Loved the narrator too... May not be as great as her Shopaholic series but still worth a listen. It gets my vote.

Known by his alias, "Oliver Stone," John Carr is the most wanted man in America. With two pulls of the trigger, the men who destroyed Stone's life and kept him in the shadows were finally silenced. But his freedom comes at a steep price: The assassinations he carried out prompt the highest levels of the U.S. government to unleash a massive manhunt. Behind the scenes, master spy Macklin Hayes is playing a very personal game of cat and mouse. He, more than anyone, wants Stone dead.

This was a terrific end to what I can only assume is the final chapter of the Camel Club. Very entertaining. Loved the narrator. Definitely worth it.

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare, woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point.

Angie says: "I couldn't wait for the audio book"
"Enjoyable but not as good as the original"
    Overall

The first book was so compelling, but I found the character's transformation a little on the predictable side... a must if you've read the other books, but not as riveting as the first & second book.

About three things I was certain. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

    "Addictive"
    Overall

A true love story for all ages that speaks to pain and the perils of love. Though written for teens it appeal to all ages, my 9 year son turned me onto this series and I can genuinely say that it's the best read to date. Highly recommended. One warning though, once you start this series you won't be able stop till the final chapter of book four is completed... it really is that addictive!

Whether dueling with new forensics or the local old boys' network, irreverent defense attorney Andy Carpenter always leaves them awed with his biting wit and winning fourth-quarter game plan. But the fun stops the day Andy's dad, Paterson, New Jersey's legendary ex-DA, drops dead in front of him at a game in Yankee Stadium.

I really enjoy this author... I wish the books were longer though. Andy Carpenter his very witty and self deprecating which makes the books very entertaining... Looking forward to more...

Oliver Stone and the Camel Club are back in their most dangerous adventure yet, a war on two fronts. Casino king Jerry Bagger from The Collectors is hunting Annabelle Conroy, who conned him out of millions. Stone and his colleagues Reuben, Milton, and Caleb marshal all their resources to protect Annabelle. Yet all their skills may not be enough when a deadly new opponent rips off the veneer of Stone's own mysterious past.

I loved this book and have enjoyed all of David Baldacci's Camel Club books but this was by far the best of the three. I cannot wait to read the next installment. Some great twists and turns, that leave you wanting the book to go on forever. I hope they keep the same narrator too because he really brings the book to life. Only downside were the lengthy pauses between chapters when I thought my Ipod had run out of battery.. perhaps that can be tightened up. Don't miss this book, you'll be sorry.

One evening, Danny, an East End cockney who works as a garage mechanic, takes his girlfriend up to the West End to celebrate their engagement. He crosses the path of Spencer Craig, a West End barrister tipped to be the youngest Queen's Counsel of his generation. A few hours later Danny is arrested for murder and later is sentenced to 22 years in prison.

It's been a long while since I've read a Jeffrey Archer book and this one did not disaapoint... I'd put this book up there with Kane & Abel where you just can't stop once you've started. I've since gone back to find other Jeffrey Archer books to download. Don't miss this one.

The whistleblower who died before she could expose a scandal at Pruitt & Pruitt was Madison's best friend...and her father's trophy girlfriend. It'll take more than a week at the spa for this heiress-turned-spy to recover from a potential murdering dad, a rough-around-the-edges boyfriend who doesn't know she's filthy rich, and an FBI agent who has the gall to lecture her about protocol.

Scottie in TX says: "Golden Girl Rocks"
    "Disappointing"
    Overall

Yeah I know this was supposed to be a frothy piece, but did the author have to remind us every other page that the heroine was an agent... and how amazing that she was an agent, and but oh dear she couldn't tell anyone she was an agent... it was repetitive and silly and beyond unbelievable. Don't waste your time or money on this book.
