What made the experience of listening to Catching Fire the most enjoyable?

The continuation of Catniss and Peeta combined with the new victors in the games. I was caught up in the general feel of a subculture uprising that felt like it could blow open at anytime while the lead character remains somewhat oblivous to it all. The action felt must quicker than Hunger Games.

What other book might you compare Catching Fire to and why?

Hunger Games-Great prelude to Catching Fire.Girl with Dragon Tatoo-similar in how you really don't know where the story is going to go or how it's going to get there.

Would you listen to Tom Clancy Presents: Act of Valor again? Why?

Yes- I think the second time would give me a better feel for the scope of the writing including all details.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes-I didn't really know how the plot was going to come together at the end. I didn't expect the ending

What does Steven Weber bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

A very objective persona similar to what I would expect Navy Seals to be in real life when on a mission.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No-It was easy to follow in segments

Tucked away in a remote corner of North Carolina's Fort Bragg, behind rows of razor wire and heavily armed guards, lies the headquarters of the nation's most elite counter-terrorism unit - the United States Army's 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta. Here, a brilliant new approach to combating terrorism has just been born. Its codename: The Athena Project.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Athena Project to be better than the print version?

The Athena Project is a great new venue for Brad Thor with the same suspense and action details that marks his styel. It as good as any of his previous books. However, I wished Scott Harvath could have been more involved. I like that character. It was, however, a bit challenging for me to keep track of all of the members of the Athena Project and after a while I had trouble differentiating betweeen them
