Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, do buy this audiobook! Enjoyed the story, characters and a happy ending! Interesting survival tips, in case I ever get stranded on an island. I will definitely pack lots of earrings with hoops!

What does Heidi Baker bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I listen to 2 -3 audiobooks a month and a good narrator is a must. I have listened to books, based on the narrator alone, and this narrator, Heidi, would fit into this catagory. What a joy to listen to!

    Any additional comments?

I first downloaded this book based on the author being an Iowan, and wasn't disappointed. Any new books in the works?

What made the experience of listening to Someone's Watching the most enjoyable?

I love listening to an audiobook that steers me to take the long way home from work or a trip, just so I can listen to more of the story. This book did exactly that! I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what will happen next. Lots of interesting twists in the story that more than held my interest. What a thriller! This is my first book by this author, and I will be checking for more of the author's audiobooks.

Have you listened to any of Heidi Baker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I believe this is one of Heidi's best! Heidi's performance added to the intensity of the story. I will definitely be listening to more of her audiobooks.

    Highly recommend

Layken Cohen isn't your typical 18-year-old. After the recent death of her father, she is forced to be the rock for both her mother and younger brother. Outwardly, she appears resilient and tenacious, but inwardly, she's slowly losing hope. Enter Will Cooper: The 21-year-old new neighbor with an intriguing passion for performing "Slams". Will and Layken immediately form an intense and emotional connection neither of them knew they needed until it was found.

What made the experience of listening to Slammed the most enjoyable?

Narrator did a fantastic job reading the poetry. It brought me right to the Club and could visualize those performing their poems.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Slammed?

Eddie was my favorite character. Loved her appreciation for life and her nonjudgemental and upbeat attitude. She would be a true friend for life. I'll think of her when I see a pink balloon.

What does Heidi Baker bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The reciting/performing of the poems was excellent. Brought so much emotions to the poems that I wouldn't have been able to feel by just reading the book. I would rewind and listen to the poems several times.

    Any additional comments?

The poetry brought more interest to the book. It made a typical romance book so much more.
