Lots and lots of talking, group meetings of strategy, motives, acting and reacting and it does on and on...to the point it became somewhat boring. the book was somewhat agreeable but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for future listening or reading.
Reacher is turning into a sissy, talks a lot, always a lady stand out actually overshadowing Reacher himself.
It just may be me but these Reacher books just don’t have that ministry/excitement to them anymore. The Killing floor was Lee’s 1st and mine also, over the pass year’s I have read them all, not sure why. There's more predictability, discussion and strategy replacing the Old Reacher brute force…I guess the next book will be about what color flowers Reacher prefers. JS
Enough with the female FBI agents, and home groaned terrorist. Why not some Mexican drug lords? And they were times I could not make what Dick Hill was saying.
Like others, I like Dean Koontz books, but this one was extremely boring. They were a time or two were I actually fast-forwarded some of Carpenter’s whining and outrage. Especially the segment about the cookies baking Colorado woman.
I'm not sure what description would fit best is somewhere between bad story or no story atoll. Very boring, very un-capitalists just a bad book in general.
This book is outstanding!!! Tells about the way the war came to a end...as to the way President Lincolns life came to a end. but, I think Mr. O'Reilly "may" have been wrong about last time General Lee and General Grant spoke. Robert Lee visited President Grant one other occasion. It was at the White House and it was about railroad access to Lexington, Va. When Lee was President of Washington University.
I looked forward to the arrival of this book for a long time. I wasn't disappointed at all; hard driving Jack None Reacher puts it all on the line once again. Therefore, I will wait to see where Reacher pops-up next.
If you enjoy stories of people being tortured this is a book for you. I had to force myself to finish this book; traditionally I love wild western stories.
Outstanding story from the beginning to end, I can hardly wait for my next Rapp novel.
This was a very good book, I would highly recommend this book to anyone that has an appetite for good thriller.
