right up there at the top. Rapp & Kennedy are believable and unpredictabe
Rapp is always a favorite; he's human, with flaws and a background.
Treason against the USA? Knowing Rapp was coming, what were you thinking?
I'm gonna miss Stan Hurley. He's so cantankerous and foul, yet such a patriot. I love that about him.
The characters! Their individual quirks and flaws make them believable; the readers voice for Big Eddy and Carl is just funny and the story is 'stuck on the edge of your seat' great!
It did. Just when I was sure of the next turn a new character popped up and sent me down another path.
Just about anytime Carl & Reaper are trying to bring their boss in! The dialogue is just too funny.
Gosh, that's a hard one
This book was barely cooled down on my phone before I had booted up the sequel! Amoung my favorites!
McLarty and Cassidy have done it again! This book has many twists and turns and although some of the action is way out there, the characters are alive and human with flaws and feelings.
The moment she realizes he can be trusted and vise-versa
Near the end when the double cross is realized by Turner. I know people like him-arrogant to the point of annoyance - I could see the look on his face when he knew his plan didn't work.
Yup! had a hard time turning it off.
This title is listed under Mysteries & Thrillers; yet 95% of the book is different ways of describing the main characters' sex lives, thoughts about sex, or having sex.
the first chapter opens with interesting characters and a murder. . .then you go for about 8 hours of how the two main characters feel about each other, about life, etc. then the last chapter winds up the 'whodunit' with very obvious finale. Very big let down
Can't say any of it stood out
bordom; and 'when will this end?"
The narrator did her best with what she had to read. Her voices were good.
the intricate details of the characters
Such description of Montana; I felt like I was on the mountain with Marilee
When JD finally figures out his true meaning in life
she moves the story along with her narration, inflection and character voices
The ending - I'm a sucker for a happy ending
have not read the print version
Gray Man - he's contemporary yet idealistic.
The confrontation with The Gray Man's previous or X-handler
The same one
